Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has conveyed his condolences to the victims of recent natural disasters in Afghanistan and Sudan.

In a Facebook post on Wednesday, Anwar said Malaysia stands in solidarity with both nations during this time of grief and hardship.

00:29According to Bakhtar News Agency , the death toll from the recent 6.0-magnitude earthquake
00:36in Kunar Province, eastern Afghanistan, has risen to 1,411, with 3,124 others injured.
00:45The quake also destroyed more than 5,400 homes in Kunar, the epicenter.
00:51In Sudan, heavy rains triggered a landslide in a village in central Darfur state, killing
00:56over 1,000 people.
