00:00Google just changed search forever. Google just launched preferred sources in
00:05the US and in India. It lets you choose your favorite sites so that their stories
00:09show up first in your top stories section whenever they've got fresh
00:14relevant content for your search. For finance fans that means you can set
00:18Google to always show me Benzinga first so market news, earnings updates, and
00:24stock analysis hit your screen before anything else. Here's how to set it up.
00:28Go to the top left of your screen where the Google labs icon is. It'll bring you
00:33to this page. You scroll down to where it says preferred sources. Once you've
00:38clicked that you can check the box and then proceed to try it out. Now let's
00:43check out some news that's happening today. I heard something about Birkshire
00:46Hathaway so let's check that out. Upon hitting search you can see in the top
00:50stories there's the option to tap the icon on the right. We're gonna tap that and
00:55this is where you get to choose your preferred sources. So I'm gonna type
00:58in Benzinga. Check the box, hit reload results, and now you'll see in the top
01:03stories here we have a Benzinga article posted three hours ago. And now you're
01:07set up to get your desired news from your favorite sources.
