00:00I was here in 82 with seeing the Rolling Stones. I think it was the very first outdoor gig that one
00:06and I've still got the sweatshirt and I thought they were ancient then and that was 82. I've also
00:13seen Robbie Williams and U2 and I think it's great. I mean I'd love to see the boss here Bruce
00:19Springsteen because when he appeared here many many years ago I was too young so I wasn't able
00:23to go to it. I'd love to see Ed Sheeran because of the ginger connection. Yeah I don't know I mean
00:28I remember seeing U2 back in the day. Absolutely amazing concert. Madonna's
00:33played here before as well. I don't know maybe we could get someone like Dave
00:36coming down. Do you know what I mean? Someone a bit more modern. Kaiser Chiefs or Jerry
00:41Cinnamon. I think we don't like to see Jerry Cinnamon. I would like Kaiser Chiefs. The richest person in the world.
00:47Elon Musk. Stop that. I think Rinaldo. Rinaldo yeah. No but Jerry Cinnamon or Kaiser Chiefs or Pigeon Detectives which is a
00:57local band. It's a great natural venue. Loads of people obviously maybe 60, 70,000 and I saw
01:06Simple Minds in probably about 88. Robbie Williams in the two noughties and yeah I'd
01:13love to see Coldplay here because you've been to Hull Coldplay so please come to
01:16Leeds Rounday Park. Well I came to see the Rolling Stones in the 80s here at Rounday Park and it was
01:23absolutely amazing. So I don't know how many people come these days but I came to
01:28see Ed Sheeran which is also an excellent concert although it absolutely poured down.
01:33I think it's a great idea. Certainly when I was a little bit younger I came to see
01:38Mick Jagger. I came to see the Stones and I think it was his 40th birthday and they just
01:45played and played and we were up on the mound and it was amazing and it was really
01:49sunny and we just had the most amazing evening. I live within earshot of them on the north side
01:54of Leeds and it's not a bother. In fact generally it's nice music and it's nice to be able to hear
02:00it and yeah it creates a real buzz. I think two weekends a year is not yeah is a proportionate
02:09amount I guess that sounds fine and it brings people into the park doesn't it and hopefully
02:13generates a bit of income to preserve it as well. I went to like Tracy's Rolling Stones in 82
02:20and Bruce Springsteen 83 and we started throwing chocolate we were on Hill 60 and throwing chocolate
02:29cake for some reason. People in the crowd. Bruce Lee was great and the whole venue any live venue is
02:38great but Roundy Park is special and local and I would love to see Sam Fender. Oh yes.
02:45Ditto. I like all the stuff you know I like things like Vinci's Squeeze, Madness, Brian Adams.
02:53In terms of who I'd like to see I mean I'm obsessed with Paolo Nutini who is not a Yorkshire musician
02:58but he is awesome.
02:59Ditto.
03:06Ditto.
03:07Ditto.
03:09Queer.
03:17Ditto.
03:18Ditto.
