00:00In villages throughout the Highlands there is grim talk of skirmishes between Scotland and England.
00:10We lost the city of Dunbar this week. Scottish defenders broke ranks and fled.
00:17The English have an army that is larger and better trained.
00:22To compete with them, we are going to need new recruits to pick up the spear, sword or bow.
00:29We must remake these shepherds into soldiers.
00:43We will need many soldiers to defend our homeland.
00:47We'll start by creating villagers.
00:50Click your town center.
00:52Then click the create villager button in the lower left corner of the screen.
00:59It takes time for a villager to appear.
01:04If your town center is selected, you can see the progress in the status area at the bottom of your screen.
01:11Good job!
01:12The villager has a pier next to your town center.
01:17Now, create another villager.
01:19You need additional housing to support your population.
01:23To build a house, click a villager.
01:26Click the buildings button.
01:28Click the build house button.
01:30Then click where you want to build the house.
01:33If more than one villager builds a building, it will go up faster.
01:47Good job!
01:52Try building another house.
01:54Each house supports five units.
02:00The population indicator at the top of the screen shows your current supportable population.
02:06Other buildings are made just like houses.
02:12Try building a barracks.
02:14The barracks is a military building.
02:17That would be very terrible.

02:25barracks complete now you can create soldiers click the barracks then click the create militia
02:43button selecting different buildings or units gives you different options in the lower left
02:50corner of the screen that's one militia you create three more and you'll have enough soldiers to
02:58protect this area and win the scenario click the barracks and quickly click the create militia
03:05button three more times to make three soldiers in a row
03:20now that you have a few soldiers you'll be able to defend this area against english attacks
03:50now that we have militias stationed across the border the english have slowed their raids
04:00but face it long shan's army will be another matter the wicked english king has yet to bring his famous
04:08longbows to bear our militias could only get us so far we are going to need more advanced weapons
