People around the world express their support for Venezuela

00:18Venezuela let's take a look following threats from the United States against the Venezuelan

00:25people a group of citizens gathered at the Venezuelan consulate in Madrid to express

00:29their support for that nation the United States and all of Western capitalism have in a way an

00:40absolutely wasteful lifestyle and for that they need to accumulate dominate natural resources

00:44labor and markets in an overwhelming way and it needs the United States in particular to maintain

00:50that consumerist lifestyle to keep Latin America as its backyard a backyard that was slipping

01:00through its fingers with the inclusion of the Bolivarian Revolution first and of course the

01:05Cuban Revolution and the inclusion of all the progressive governments of the southern cone of

01:09Latin America and even Central America with governments such as those of Daniel

01:14Ortega or Zeomara Castro in Honduras so when they see that their backyard is slipping fingers if it is

01:26necessary to maintain their hegemony which in turn is necessary to sustain their lifestyle then they

01:32have obviously gotten down to work in Madeira Portugal also calling for peace in Latin America

01:43from Italy the coordinator of solidarity Italy Cuba expressed her support for the Venezuelan people

01:54while in the United Kingdom various activists joined the day of action remembering the sovereign and

01:59independent legacy of that South American nation the coordinator of solidarity with Cuba strongly

02:10denounces this new US aggression and expresses its maximum solidarity with the Venezuelan people and

02:16their legitimate government it calls on all revolutionary and anti-imperialist popular movements to

02:21mobilize to reject this aggression Venezuela yes Cuba yes imperialism no

02:26we want to send the people of Bolivar a message of solidarity during this difficult time they are

02:41going through we know about the thousands of sanctions we know about all the suffering caused

02:45by the Empire but we also know about the enormous strength of the people of Bolivar chbes and Maduro to

02:52be able to fight against all of this much success resident Latin American residents in Belarus also

03:01joined the world day of solidarity with Venezuela it must be understood that aggression against the

03:12sovereignty of any nation of our sister country Venezuela must be understood as aggression against

03:17our family our heritage our future we absolutely reject any attempt to involve the Bolivarian revolution

03:24in anything negative for humanity since on the contrary it has been an example of unity and sovereignty

03:30worldwide displays of solidarity confirmed that the people of Venezuela are not alone in their

03:38struggle against imperialism for peace and for the self-determination of peoples

03:42and the self-determination of the people of Venezuela
