00:00An internationalist Danny Shaw highlighted the work of all the young internationalists that, despite U.S. threats and repression, traveled
00:06to the island to bring solidity aid.
00:10Shout out to all of our young people who surely their families were very nervous when they traveled here to
00:17Cuba.
00:17Not because they were coming to Cuba, but nervous because of all of the repression, all of the lack of
00:22freedom of speech that we're experiencing in the belly of the beast in New York and across the U.S.
00:29Shout out to all those young people and all the organizations that came here as part of these internationalist flotillas.
00:36It's an incredible expression of internationalism in the 21st century when they want to scare us and intimidate us.
00:43And how shameful that the FBI and Homeland Security and ICE detained me, stole my phone, and have done the
00:51same to how many young people who have selflessly and courageously come here to Cuba.
00:56But why? To participate with the Cuban people, to contribute, to bring rice and beans and fuel and medical supplies
01:03and Tylenol, so many things that we take for granted in the bloated, indulgent West.
01:09It was a beautiful expression of solidarity.
01:11And the fact that the U.S. government then castigates and punishes and intimidates and even detains and steals the
01:19phones of these young people is an indication of just how decadent our system is.
