00:00Is there a third game in the season that could have been a draw, but someone found a way to win it?
00:05Yeah, if we play this game ten times more in the same fashion, then I think it's eight times a draw.
00:14We win it one time and Arsenal win it one time, because it was an undefendable game.
00:19Which is something sometimes positive as well, because both teams were really good in rest defence and defending.
00:27But I think normally Arsenal and us are able to create more chances during a game.
00:34But that tells you also something about the structure and the amount of discipline both teams have without the ball.
00:40And then you need a moment of magic, which we got from Dominic.
00:44And that resulted in us winning the game that was, like I just said, normally would have ended in the draw.
00:52But, I don't agree with you in the first game, I think we totally deserved to win the one-up game.
00:59You said last season that Dominic's side was going to be a bit underrated, not by you.
01:05But what he's done in the last three games, is that somewhat how important he is to this team?
01:10I don't think he changed at all in the last few games compared to what he did last season.
01:14He's always been the player that, I think, he understands what a Liverpool player should look like.
01:23If you wear this shirt, you should give everything, no matter in what position you play.
01:27As a midfielder, he's always the first one to track back, to press high.
01:30And today I don't think he did anything wrong.
01:35Unbelievable game from him in the position he probably played only two or three times in his life.
01:40So, it tells you a lot about the mentality he has.
01:44But he played really well as he played so many times so well as an attacking midfielder.
01:50You mentioned the structure and the discipline of the ball in terms of how the defence was played.
01:59But I think in terms of individual performances, all four members of the back forwards today,
02:05particularly after Newcastle, where there have been some criticism of some of them, particularly Canate.
02:11Okay, now you didn't get a criticism from me.
02:14But yeah, if you play in a Liverpool shirt, you get a lot of credits, mainly,
02:21and sometimes maybe you get a little bit of criticism, which is not a problem at all.
02:26Today they were outstanding.
02:28You have to be outstanding if you play Arsenal, because of all the attacking threat they have.
02:32So I think they thought like, wow, we did a great job,
02:35and then they looked at the line and they saw Eze and Odegaard coming in.
02:39But again, they did well also against them.
02:43So, yeah, a very good game.
02:47I think Virgil was already unbelievable against Newcastle.
02:51And he and the others were very good today again as well.
02:57How is Canate, by the way?
03:00He thinks it's cramp, and I have no reason to doubt him.
03:06Although sometimes players talk about cramp, and then we make a scan that's more than that.
03:11Jeremy Primpone wasn't too happy, like some pundits, like some journalists,
03:15when I took him out against Gormov, because why does he do this?
03:19And he thought he only had cramp, or only felt a little bit, and he's already out for two or three weeks now.
03:24So let's wait and see. On a positive note, Joe Gomes, what a 15 minutes.
03:30And I had to make one difficult choice today, because I had to leave one player out of the squad,
03:36only Jeremy Primpone being injured, and then I only have to make one difficult decision,
03:41who I cannot take in the squad.
03:43And the good thing was that he's a centre-back, Giovanni Leoni.
03:47So we are perfectly placed in that position.
03:51Andy?
03:52How was the best injury?
03:55It wasn't an injury, it was a welcome to the Premier League.
03:59After 85 minutes, I don't think he knew that he could have cramped in so many different places.
04:06And that's what happened.
04:09That is, welcome to the Premier League, welcome playing in this intensity against an Arsenal
04:15that can play really intense as well.
04:17So that is, if you bring in what we do, very, very, very good players,
04:22so, so, so talented, but from different leagues and young.
04:26So, 22, I think, Florian, 23, Hugo.
04:30So I think it's normal that if you're not 27, 28,
04:34you maybe need to make a step towards the Premier League,
04:37and that's what these two are doing.
04:39And in the meantime, we have nine points out of games
04:43where we picked up last season five points.
04:46So, that's only positive, but I do know and understand that we can do better.
04:52The positive thing is, some people thought we were too open against Bournemouth.
04:56You couldn't say we were too open today, because I said uneventful,
05:02you could use another word as well, which could be the word boring,
05:06because both teams hardly created any chance.
05:09Last one here, please.
05:11Hi, Arne.
05:12As you said, nine points at the first international break.
05:14What are you happy about your team and what do you think you seem to improve?
05:18Mentality, having to bring quite a lot of new players in,
05:22because quite a few left.
05:24And then if you have to start the season against Bournemouth,
05:28who were last season already really good,
05:30then this season again are already on six points, if I'm correct.
05:32I think I am.
05:34Playing Newcastle away, which is for every single team in the league
05:37one of the most difficult away games.
05:39And then Arsenal at home, which is definitely one of the FIFA
05:42the most difficult games of the season.
05:44And then already doing what we are doing.
05:47We are not perfect, we weren't perfect last season by the way as well.
05:51But still what you can see is a great mentality
05:54and everybody wants to work so hard to get a result over the line.
05:58And then you need a little bit of luck.
06:01Which we had in Newcastle today.
06:04But I've said this so many times,
06:07I think it was Michael Jordan,
06:08the harder we work the more luck we get.
06:10And that is, I think, something that you can say about this team.
06:13They work incredibly hard.
06:15And there will be moments in the season where we work just as hard
06:18and we don't find the luck of scoring a goal,
06:20but we always give ourselves a chance because we work so hard.
06:23Thank you guys.
