A video has emerged after the police shut part of Sandwich Road at Cliffsend, near Ramsgate, after a sinkhole appeared today.
The void has opened in the Thanet-bound lane, close to the Viking Ship and Hugin Green, prompting officers to guard the scene.
Motorists are advised to take alternative routes.
