A large sinkhole opened at a construction site in Shanghai, causing workers to run to safety.
CCTV footage showed cracks forming in the road before it collapsed, creating a deep void.
The incident took place on 11 February at the junction of Qixin Road and Li’an Road during metro construction work.
According to Daily Mail, authorities confirmed there were no injuries or fatalities, while local media suggested the sinkhole may have been linked to a leak at a nearby subway site.
Municipal officials later cordoned off the area.
