Ancient tombs unearthed in Iraq due to drought

Archaeologists in drought-hit Iraq work on 40 ancient tombs discovered in the Khanke region of Duhok province, after water levels in the country's largest reservoir declined. "The tombs are believed to date back to the Hellenistic or Hellenistic-Seleucid period, about 2,300 years ago," says a local official.
