Vegemite jars Bohemian cut vases and dolphin statues are among some of the treasures on display in a unique art gallery in the flinders ranges. An artist who has run out of room has come up with a unique way to share his work.

00:15is the latest instalment at a unique regional art gallery.
00:19In place of seats, shelves show off an eclectic collection of glassware.
00:23The light comes through it all and it makes it really zing.
00:26The bus is an ingenious way of extending artistic pursuits in the Flinders Ranges.
00:32We've built so much on this block we're not allowed to build any more,
00:35but I'm allowed to park like a bus there, I can get away with that.
00:37I saw this one in Adelaide that a bloke had put his price down
00:41and we come to a deal and he drove it up for me.
00:44A house painter by trade, Geoff Morgan took the leap
00:47into becoming a full-time artist in 1990, a year after an industrial accident.
00:52His dyslexia has helped provide a constant stream of ideas.
00:56There's so many projects in my mind.
00:58It's part of being dyslexic. Your mind's all over the place, I think.
01:01I'm not even going to let my wife know all the projects I'm thinking of.
01:07A visitor with a background in neuroscience diagnosed the artist with dyslexia.
01:13He explained that normally people that haven't had formal trainings, their paintings are very flat
01:18and that mine had a lot of depth and he says that's a trait of dyslexic people often.
01:24His advice for aspiring artists? Following your dreams takes grit.
01:28Anything worth doing is often a struggle, so yeah.
01:34But just go for it, yeah.
01:36Because otherwise you'll die wondering.
01:39There's a very different kind of wondering happening here.
