00:02:37whom all things were made, and without him, nothing was made that had been made, and then
00:02:47in John chapter 1 and 14 it says, and the word was made flesh and developed among us, and we
00:02:54held his glory to glory to one, and we got his son full of grace and full of truth, so God,
00:03:00the father created everything through his son, he is the reason that you are here today, he
00:03:09is the reason you're alive today, he is the reason for mercy and grace, a lot of us like
00:03:23to just do whatever, and live how we want to live, and do what we want to do, but he didn't
00:03:28create you for me, God bless you, he didn't create us to just, just throw us down here, just
00:03:38like scattered coins, throwing them ping pong balls, you don't know where they're going, you
00:03:45don't know where they're going, no, God created you with a purpose and a plan, he created you
00:03:55with a purpose and a plan, and in order to know and find that purpose and find that plan,
00:04:03you need to go through Christ Jesus, for it is Christ Jesus who said that I am the way, the
00:04:15truth, and the right, and no man comes unto the father, but by him, it is only through Christ
00:04:23Jesus, when there's will, there's purpose, because no matter what you do, no matter how much fun
00:04:33you have in life, no matter where you go, you can go to Italy, you can go to Spain, you can
00:04:40go on vacation, you can even fly to the moon, but in the end, did you really live the life
00:04:52that God had planned for you, God's purpose and God's plan for your life is not just for you to
00:04:59just be there and do what you want to do, there's a greater purpose, because you doing what you want
00:05:07to do, in that, there will be an emptiness, there will be an emptiness in you just doing what it is
00:05:18you want to do, there's always an emptiness in there, it leaves you nowhere and it leaves you with
00:05:24nothing, because once you do it, once you have satisfied that part of your flesh, then later it's
00:05:33like, now what, I've already done this, kind of like what Will Smith was saying, he's already made the
00:05:40money, he's already been the number one in the movies, he's already slept with this many women,
00:05:45he's already done these types of drugs, then it gets to a point to where you're like, now what?
00:05:52And even though we're not like Will Smith, we're not famous, there's still a bit saying, now what?
00:06:06After doing the things that we have done, when we think that this is great, we're going on vacation,
00:06:16we're going to Spain, we're going to England, we're going across the seas, we're going to Middle
00:06:22Orleans, we're going to California, now what? We've been there, you can go to travel through
00:06:30all 52 states, now what? We've been there, now what? And even in the end of your life, there's
00:06:42time to what we call transition, when you finally transition, when you get to that one point,
00:06:54where it's like, now what? When you transition from death to life, when you transition out of
00:07:04your body, you're going to be like, oh no, how did I get here? Because eternity is far different
00:07:18in us being in this temporary world. So eventually in the end, there is something that you're going
00:07:30to face. You're going to face something in the end, and that is a holy God. We have to face the
00:07:42holy God in the end of our life. And I always quote Hebrews 9, 27, for it is appointed for man
00:07:52to God once, and then after that, the judgment. We're going to have to face judgment at the end of our life.
00:08:05What's it matter of the things you did that you thought were so great? You weren't great to God.
00:08:12It just satisfied your flesh for a while. Once you did all you wanted to do, then what? It leaves you with an emptiness. It leaves you with a brokenness because there's something deeper. There's something inside
00:08:32of you that wants more that you don't specifically know how to get it. And I'm going to tell you right now that that feeling that there's more, there's going to be more to miss, is because we're missing more creator. We're missing more creator. We're missing the one that created you and your mother's
00:09:02move. You go throughout your life and you neglect him. You hear about him. You've been to a building. You've heard the pastor. And you might have been baptized. You might have been a church kid. You might have been in a choir. But somewhere along the line, you were strayed.
00:09:22The Bible says that we are like sheep have strayed. We've all turned to our own way. But the Lord God has made upon him, Jesus Christ, the iniquity of us all.
00:09:38Iniquity, which is sin, seems to make us separated. Seems to make us feel separated from God. So we have to try to fill our lives with other things. That's what happens. We try and fill our life with other things.
00:10:02And that's what happens. And that's where we mess up in. Because the things that we try to fill our lives with are just going to leave us more empty.
00:10:16To the addict. To the addict. You fill your life with drugs. And then you get that high. And you go on that for a while. And then you're empty again.
00:10:33Because now the mind is gone. Now you're going to search for it again.
00:10:36Guess what? It's no different. It's no different. It's no different when we're doing the same thing even if we're not doing drugs.
00:10:46Even if we're not an addict. We go chasing something. And we be so-called high on it for a while.
00:10:56And then it just leaves us more empty. It's just like when you're chasing. A woman is chasing after men. Or a man is chasing women.
00:11:09It's the same thing.
00:11:13We go and jump in this bed. That bed. Sleep here. Go there. Do that.
00:11:18And eventually it just leaves you more empty. But God, in Christ Jesus, He has something He wants to fill you with.
00:11:28And it's His Holy Spirit.
00:11:32It's His Holy Ghost.
00:11:37Having the Spirit of God living in the inside of you.
00:11:42Which fills you.
00:11:44Again, I will mention a woman at the well in Jonah chapter 4.
00:11:54She would only come out. The Samaritan woman would only come out.
00:11:58It's so amazing that Jesus woke eight hours to get to her.
00:12:03Just to sit down and tell her, I have living water for you.
00:12:08He walked miles to get to this woman.
00:12:11Amen.
00:12:14He had to go to Samaria.
00:12:17But he had to go through a town called Sychar.
00:12:20But he walked eight miles.
00:12:23He walked eight hours to get to this woman.
00:12:30Just to tell her that he was the Messiah.
00:12:33And that he had living water for her.
00:12:37Just to tell her you have had five husbands.
00:12:40And the one year about where he's not your husband now.
00:12:46She went and told the whole town of Samaria about Jesus.
00:12:51And the town wanted to see for themselves.
00:12:54The town believed because of the woman's testimony.
00:13:03Jesus changed lives.
00:13:04Alcoholics.
00:13:05Alcoholics.

00:13:07That day is not going to change your life.
00:13:11But why is it?
00:13:12And if it does change your life, it will.
00:13:15It will do the worst.
00:13:20I'm telling you today, there's something greater.
00:13:24That God has for you.
00:13:27But you've got to be the one to seek.
00:13:31He said, those who seek me shall find me if they seek me with all their heart.
00:13:39Do you have the heart to seek God?
00:13:42Or do you just want to just...
00:13:45Because some of us like...
00:13:46We'd like to just go to the church and feel like we're fulfilling our obligation.
00:13:55Well, I did all this last night.
00:13:57Now let me go to church and repeat.
00:13:59Some of us are in repent and repeat mode.
00:14:03We'll go to the building just to say, I'll repent of what I did yesterday.
00:14:07Or I'll repent of what I did last night.
00:14:09And then we'll go back the next week and do it again.
00:14:11That's not true repentance.
00:14:16It's not true repentance to do what you're doing.
00:14:22And then you go to church and think.
00:14:26And God does forgive us.
00:14:30But true repentance is when you turn from it.
00:14:35When you change and you turn from it and you don't go back to it.
00:14:42Yes.
00:14:43The word of God tells us that we love him because he loved us first.
00:14:49Yes.
00:14:52But how are you going to show the love of God?
00:14:54How are you going to show that you love God?
00:14:56Because Jesus said, those who love me will obey me.
00:15:01If we really love God, we will obey him.
00:15:05We will obey his commandments.
00:15:08If we really love God, we will obey the commandments of Christ Jesus.
00:15:13If we really love God, we will continue to live in sin.
00:15:17We will continue to do the things that we want to do in our flesh.
00:15:22But let me tell you, if you're a sinner, you can turn.
00:15:28The Bible says that Jesus Christ came into the world to save sinners.
00:15:32Not that they could continue to be sinners.
00:15:39Not so that they could be saved sinners.
00:15:42But save you from your sin.
00:15:45So when you can be washed away, washed by the blood from your sin and be separated from your sin.
00:15:53That's what redemption is.
00:15:55Redemption sets you apart from your sin.
00:15:58Sin sets you apart from God.
00:16:02But redemption will restore you back to God and sets you apart from your sins.
00:16:08Redemption will reconcile you back.
00:16:10If a fellowship with God separates you from your sins.
00:16:19You don't have to no longer be a sinner.
00:16:22You don't have to no longer continue in the things that you look.
00:16:26I'm going to tell you right now, the rest of the eye, the rest of the flesh,
00:16:28and the part of life.
00:16:30The Bible says that if we love these things, the love of the Father is not in us.
00:16:36But I'm telling you today, that those things will not do anything for you.
00:16:43They feel good for a minute.
00:16:45That's all it is.
00:16:46It's a feel-good thing.
00:16:47They feel good for a minute.
00:16:48It feels good to go out and party.
00:16:51It feels good to walk out to the highway to hell.
00:16:54Well, it's crazy to me.
00:17:00Can't be a Christian and like the word and like the word stone highway to hell.
00:17:07Well, a Christian actually likes that.
00:17:09So, you must don't know Christ.
00:17:14And I'm telling you today, if we don't repent, we are on a highway to hell.
00:17:25That is true.
00:17:27If we don't repent, we are on a highway to hell.
00:17:29But Jesus said you must be born again.
00:17:32He don't want you to go there.
00:17:33The Lord does not slack it concerning his promise.
00:17:36If some man will count slackness.
00:17:40But he's patient to us.
00:17:43He's low suffering.
00:17:48And he learned that all men will come to repent.
00:17:53Repentance.
00:17:57You don't want to see any man perish.
00:18:00But come to repentance.
00:18:03Repentance is a gift from God.
00:18:11When we repent, we can be restored by the Father.
00:18:17But in Christ Jesus, that's why he came.
00:18:20He came so that you can repent.
00:18:22He came so that your sins can be washed away out of your life.
00:18:27And you can be made whole and be made brand new.
00:18:30As I said again, the things in the world just leave me empty.
00:18:33But Christ Jesus wants to make you whole.
00:18:39Holy and whole.
00:18:42Holy is to be separated from the world.
00:18:45Holiness is to be like God.
00:18:53Peter, he said, he said, be ye holy, for I am holy.
00:18:57And then he said, say it at the Lord.
00:18:58It came from the Lord.
00:18:59It's our first came from the Lord.
00:19:00Peter was quoting what came from the Lord.
00:19:04Without holiness, no man shall see the Lord.
00:19:07No matter what you wear, you can be somebody who wears a shirt all day long.
00:19:20No earrings, no makeup.
00:19:22That ain't holiness.
00:19:23That don't make you holy.
00:19:24Just because you wear a long skirt.
00:19:28Just because you don't wear earrings and jewelry.
00:19:30That don't make you holy.
00:19:31Just because you run around the church and speak in tongues.
00:19:36They didn't curse you out of English.
00:19:38That don't make you holy.
00:19:39God's Holy Spirit causes you to walk in holiness.
00:19:48Causes you to walk in the Spirit of God.
00:19:54It causes you to walk different, talk different.
00:20:00And it causes you to walk in the character and nature of Jesus Christ.
00:20:05It's not just a church thing.
00:20:08It's not just your regular.
00:20:09Because when you read the Word of God, it's what you've seen.
00:20:14We've seen tradition.
00:20:18Even the Word of God tells us that tradition makes the Word of God of no effect.
00:20:26There are some things that go on that make the Word of God of no effect.
00:20:35The Pharisees were always trying to lay upon the people the burdens of the law.
00:20:44But inside there were dead men's bones.
00:20:48They would always put the burden of the law on the people, but never lifted a finger and helped them.
00:20:53Jesus came not to abolish the law.
00:21:00He said it in His Word.
00:21:01He said it in Himself.
00:21:02He said, I came not to abolish the law, but to fulfill the law.
00:21:08The commandments.
00:21:10The moral law.
00:21:11The laws of Moses.
00:21:14He came to fulfill those things.
00:21:16Then He said, not one girl shall pass away from this law until all is fulfilled.
00:21:30He has come to fulfill.
00:21:33He has came to fulfill.
00:21:35And He has came and fulfilled.
00:21:36Now, He has come to fulfill the new covenant.
00:21:48The Bible calls Jesus like the bridegroom.
00:21:52The Bible calls the church bride.
00:21:57And a covenant is like a promise.
00:22:00And a covenant is also like a marriage.
00:22:04A covenant can be also like a marriage.
00:22:13So now you've got to ask yourself, what are you married to?
00:22:17Are you married to Jesus?
00:22:19Or are you married to the world?
00:22:21Some of you are married to the world.
00:22:23And love the world.
00:22:24And love the things of the world.
00:22:26That's why the love of the Father is not in there.
00:22:29Because they love the things of the world.
00:22:31Do you not realize that the things of the world are going to pass away?
00:22:37Do you not understand and not realize that this heaven and earth is going to pass away?
00:22:44And while we look not at the things that are seen, but the things that are not seen,
00:22:49for the things which are seen are temporal.
00:22:52But the things which are not seen are eternal.
00:22:55So the things that you see is that it's not going to last in forever.
00:23:03It's going to roll up like a woman.
00:23:05Roll up like a skull.
00:23:10Athens holds pretty buildings.
00:23:12And so many of them in the churches is erected up to the sky.
00:23:16Going to roll up like a woman.
00:23:18New York, California, wherever.
00:23:27It's going to roll up like a garment.
00:23:29The whole United States, the whole world, the universe, will roll up like a garment.
00:23:34Heaven and earth shall pass away.
00:23:36But he said, my word will not pass away.
00:23:39There shall be a new heaven and a new earth.
00:23:42So I tell you today, we better get it right.
00:23:48We better come to the knowledge of the truth.
00:23:51We better come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ before us to let us keep praying with God.
00:23:58Some of us just want, okay, we're going to do this and then we're going to church on Sunday and we'll be all right.
00:24:04But we live how we want to live throughout the rest of the week.
00:24:08And definitely do we humans.
00:24:09We do what we want to do.
00:24:12God is not a half-time God.
00:24:18He's a full-time God.
00:24:20Satan ain't a half-time devil.
00:24:22He's a full-time devil.
00:24:24But we want to play half-time.
00:24:27We like to play half-time.
00:24:29We like to play between God and the devil.
00:24:34Jesus said, I don't even need to be calm.

00:24:39But if you're who can, I'll spit you out of my mouth.
00:24:46Who are you going to serve?

00:24:53Are you serving God?

00:25:51you died of yourself before the cross.

00:25:55we died with him as believers.
00:25:58We don't have to die of ourselves
00:25:59because we already died of Christ
00:26:01and we raised him in this life.

00:26:05when things changed after the cross

00:26:09you don't want to deny yourself as a Christian.

00:26:14but deny your own fleshly desires.
