00:00Hello from Carrington, where Ruben Amarim has just held his pre-match press conference
00:04ahead of United's clash with Burnley in the Premier League this weekend.
00:07The headline news from the United head coach is that he has reiterated once again
00:12that he does not want to lose Kobi Manu in the final few days of the summer transfer window.
00:17The 20-year-old midfielder requested to leave the club on loan on Thursday
00:22and was told that he has to stay and fight for his place in the United midfield.
00:27Manu has not featured for United in either the opening two matches of the Premier League season
00:31but did play the entirety of their Carabao Cup exit to Grimsby in midweek.
00:37Manu is still locked in contract talks with the club.
00:40He doesn't see regular playing time for himself in the Premier League this season
00:44and has to leave on a temporary deal.
00:47But Ruben Amarim has reiterated once again that he still sees a place for Kobi Manu in this United side
00:52and that he should fight for his opportunity in the starting line-up.
00:56Menu, of course, is in competition with club captain Bruno Fernandes
01:00for the same central midfield role in the United side
01:03and there doesn't seem to be an obvious solution there for both of them to be on the pitch at the same time.
01:09Of course, United only have four senior central midfielders for the upcoming season.
01:14That is Fernandes, Menu, Manuel Ugarte and Casemiro.
01:17So you would expect there to be chances at some stage for Kobi Manu.
01:21Just he is disappointed given that he hasn't played a single second in the Premier League so far this season.
01:27It remains to be seen whether or not he will feature United to face Burnley this weekend.
01:31Ruben Amarim was also bullish about his future at the club in his press conference.
01:35He said, look, he was angry, frustrated and emotional after United crashed out of the Carabao Cup to Grimsby in midweek.
01:42And his comments post-match were just frustration.
01:45He's never going to change whether he needs to be media trained or not.
01:48And look, if you want Ruben Amarim to be your head coach,
01:51you have to accept that he's going to be emotional when he speaks to the media.
01:54So United face Burnley in the Premier League this weekend.
01:57They haven't won a game so far this season.
01:59After what we saw against Grimsby Town midweek, well, you wouldn't put anything past this Manchester United side.
02:05But the headline news here from Carrington is that Ruben Amarim has once again reiterated
02:09he wants Kobi Manu to be part of his side going forward.
