00:00Today, we are joined by Ms. Ingrid Niedo-Pagulayan and she will walk us through the process of trending color analysis.
00:11So, para ho sa mga hindi may alam kung ano ba yung color analysis, sabay-sabay natin yung magiging content today.
00:30Hi, Ms. Ingrid! Thank you so much for being here and for spending time to teach us about color palettes.
00:35Paano ba natin makukuha yun through the color analysis test?
00:40Yeah, so the process is finding out a person's color qualities and then their color patterns.
00:46From that and with that knowledge, I teach them or I show individuals ano yung tamang color set that would best complement their features and work well with their color direction.
00:59Siyempre, we'll start with finding out temperature or undertone.
01:07So, we have here gray. This one I can immediately see. It's a no.
01:13Okay.
01:14It does not bring out your best features. However, with this one, suddenly it's like your skin came alive.
01:22With this yellow.
01:24Okay, next.
01:26This kind of white.
01:28I've always loved white.
01:30You love white.
01:31So, let's look at the cream.
01:34Actually, dear, the cream is so much better.
01:37It's so interesting that you can really see the difference.
01:43Like, I saw the gray one kanina and it just, it didn't match.
01:46Yeah.
01:47Yeah.
01:47With this white, this one, you could wear it, but it's a color that's wearing you.
01:52Parang it's just sitting right there.
01:55Okay.
01:55It's not bringing out your features.
01:57Kasi we want you to be in colors.
01:59You're the superstar.
02:01Okay.
02:02But with this one, see, it's white, it's softer, it's a cream, pero you don't notice the color first.
02:09You still notice you.
02:09Okay, so this one works really well with your undertone.
02:14So, this one's so warm.
02:14So, we have the yellow, we have the cream.
02:17Now, this, I want to ask, what do you notice?
02:20I don't think so.
02:21I think it's too strong.
02:22It is too strong.
02:23Yeah.
02:23It's too harsh next to your features.
02:25But with this, yes, look at how at home it is.
02:32Yeah.
02:32So, this one's warm.
02:34How about this?
02:35Ito, kitang-kita, oh.
02:37Yeah, this one blends in my color.
02:39Very well, yeah.
02:41That's the peach.
02:43This is the color of the year.
02:45So, alam nyo na, sakto sa color of the year.
02:48Oh, di ba?
02:48That just means marami kang mabibili.
02:50Yeah, the peach one.
02:51The mint.
02:52Yeah.
02:53More green, it's leaning more towards the warm.
02:55Yeah.
02:56Yeah, so that's your undertone.
02:58Okay.
02:58Okay, so we've established that.
03:00Number one, warm.
03:17So, now the intensity.
03:19Yeah, so now the intensity.
03:20Don't just notice like, okay, so these are different shades of orange.
03:23Let's focus on the intensity.
03:25Okay.
03:25Okay, okay.
03:26So, let's put this on Maureen.
03:30This one is a soft.
03:32Like salmon.
03:33Yes, I think it works well for you.
03:39Next, we go up another level.
03:43Moderate soft.
03:44Yeah, I think you can still wear this without it being too overpowering on you.
03:51But we go up one more step.
03:55Oh.
03:56Now this is brighter.
03:57Yes, it's beginning to become so much brighter than Yuna.
04:01Yeah.
04:02I like the middle one.
04:05Oh, there's brighter.
04:06Yes.
04:07Oh.
04:08Okay.
04:08So, this one, it's just sitting right there next to your neck.
04:12So, this is the type of colors that, they notice the color first, they just go past your face.
04:16And you don't want to be in those kinds of colors.
04:18Okay.
04:19You want colors that just enhance you.
04:21Okay.
04:22There's another brighter or richer color.
04:25So, this one, talaga, it's too intense.
04:26It's overpowering your future in a way.
04:30You know that, when you start explaining it, it starts making sense.
04:34So, sometimes we want to wear it and we're like, ah, it's not good.
04:37But you're just like, let's say, shape of body.
04:41Yes.
04:41But it's the color.
04:42Yes.
04:43And that's a nice thing also about color analysis when I, of course, educate my clients as well.
04:48You begin to learn that, for example, cool is not better than warm.
04:52Warm is not better than cool.
04:54Neutral is not better than those two.
04:56You just begin to have that appreciation, oh, this is my color qualities.
05:01Okay.
05:01So, you just have to find what colors work with it.
05:04Yeah.
05:05And then you begin to appreciate also the beauty in others.
05:08What I love most about this is I think it makes it 10 times easier to shop.
05:12Yes, that's one of the benefits.
05:14You're not going to go to the mall and think like, what color am I going to buy?
05:17No, you know exactly what's going to suit you.
05:20And those are the things that you're going to look for in a rack.
05:22Aurene's intensity is soft to moderate soft.
05:25Okay.
