00:00What are you hoping to learn about your team Saturday?

00:03I think our ability to take from the practice field,

00:06from what we worked on and emphasized all summer,

00:10just to take that to the field and go play.

00:15It's a first game.

00:16We're going to do some really good things.

00:18We're going to make some mistakes,

00:19but I think our resolve, our fight,

00:21our physicality of the areas of the program,

00:24we feel like we've really taken some steps with this team.

00:27We want to go put that on display.

00:29And so, you know, first games in college are always unique,

00:34and you look forward to it.

00:35I think these guys are looking forward to it,

00:37and we can't wait to watch them play.

00:38I know you talked a little bit about your starting line last night.

00:41How did you come to that group in particular and at the center position?

00:44I know you talked about playing both Killian and John Ray.

00:47How do you kind of manage balancing both of them?

00:50Yeah, I mean, you know, Killian's going to start.

00:55He's been the most consistent player.

00:57I think we'll certainly play John Ray,

00:59and John Ray's absolutely going to factor in for our offensive line this year,

01:03no question about it.

01:05You know, that was and has been and continues to be a good battle.

01:11And I'm sure it will go on all year,

01:13but those guys have helped each other

01:14and are really kind of feeding off one another,

01:16which has been good for our entire offensive line.

01:19Yeah, and I just think, you know, for us,

01:20it's right now trying to get the best five on the field.

01:24And fortunately, like I've said,

01:25we have some guys that are able to play multiple positions

01:28and you feel like you can do that.

01:30And then, yeah, I mean, I'm kind of excited to see the depth,

01:33you know, play out behind those guys.

01:34I think there's a handful of guys,

01:36I know I've mentioned them before,

01:38that I think can absolutely factor in for this team this year,

01:41and we would be confident playing right now.

01:42So, you know, hopefully those guys here

01:44get an opportunity to play a little bit

01:46and we'll get to see them work.
