DOGS, PONIES AND CAT DREAMY COUNTRYSIDE ADVENTURE WITH HOVERBOARDS AND ALL
WITH PIX AND VID
By Shuk Yee Tsang
It’s not every day you see a cat in a raincoat peeking from a backpack, dogs perched on horseback like royalty, or Shetland ponies pulling tiny airboats through the water.
But for animal trainer and adventurer Emma Massingale, from Cornwall, UK, it’s just another magical day with her beloved tribe of pets.
Filmed by her partner, Jeremy Colwill, the clips show Emma’s Connemara horse carrying her along with Louis, her Siamese cat, tucked snugly in a backpack. Another pony carries Luna the Labrador and Doug the Vizsla in specially mounted blue chairs.
Other playful moments capture her dachshunds Pong-Pong and Tweedie splashing in the river alongside Shetlands Seb and Bridget, donning miniature raincoats, or even hitching a ride on hoverboards and inflatable river donuts.
For Emma, these whimsical rides are more than an adventure they’re the fulfilment of childhood dreams.
She said: “It’s the best kind of ride! These are the moments I dreamt of as a child, just riding free with my friends in the nature that surrounds us.”
"The strength of friendship quietly lives in every bond we build.
"Adventure planning involves a lot of training especially if you’re wanting to include Dachshunds! As let's just say they can be a little challenge! "
Her partner Jeremy added: “It’s just so unusual to see a horse carrying dogs on each side, and for them all to be completely content doing it.
"Louis the cat likes going anywhere with Emma, he even rides ponies alone.”

00:00Today I'm out on a special little adventure. I've got my two gorgeous little Dachshunds who I love
00:22spending time with. So I've got Tweedle who's the little wire-haired Dachshund and Pongers who's the
00:28slinky and the idea is that they're supposed to stay on the sled until we get to the off-road parts
00:33and then they can run free. Pony wise I've got Seb and Bridget. Bridget is up front as she's my leader
00:40of my line so when I have the four single file or any line of single file Bridget goes up front
00:45because she's so brave, she's so bold and she really takes on that job perfectly and Seb is
00:51completely the opposite. He is an anchorman, he is a complete dude and he really is just such a
00:57fantastic pony to have as anchor so for them today it's just an easy day out getting a bit of exercise
01:02in the sunshine. Love ya! Now the ponies are safe and secure it's time for the sausages and I to get
01:12our wetsuits on and get in that river for a bit of fun. Oh that is so cute! I'm not sure how cold it's going to be
01:21today so we've got wetsuits and life jackets on so hopefully that will keep us warm
01:26well they certainly look the part, they look ready for adventure
01:46We all took a little swim but to be honest with you I think April is a little bit early for this wild swimming
01:57It was freezing so we will make a quick dash for the exit and head back to see how the ponies are
02:04Weedie wasted no time in trying to get herself dry. She was going crazy, rubbing herself everywhere, they were darting in and out of the hedges
02:19It was very funny
02:21She just couldn't get herself dry quick enough and I can't say I blame her either
02:27I took their life jackets off so they could really get themselves dry and then they could sit in the sun and just warm up again
02:57I'mただ I'm glad if she's recording with theila from around the ocean and I'm content
03:04That's so cool!
03:05That's why it was really incredibly confusing
03:08We're stuck with this show
03:11What made you say?
03:13We do think that it will be some Iz protections
03:16What made me say?
03:18Why didn't I think this has been weird, taking a look of the truth
03:20I bye friends
03:22Three more weeks
03:25I got the love of Jesus
03:27But sadly we had to pack up and sometimes I just like them to have a really easy day
03:38out.
03:39This really helps to keep them optimistic when I go to get them from the fields because
03:44they don't think that every time I go to get them that I'm going to demand that they have
03:48to work hard for me.
03:49And then on the odd occasion where maybe it is a little bit more tricky or a little bit
03:53more difficult, that goodwill is there and they don't mind putting in a little bit more
03:58effort, maybe on some of those moorland trips where the terrain is a little bit more of a
04:02challenge.
04:03The sausages really have been excellent, I'm so proud of them.
04:06Good ponies.
04:08As we arrived back home we met by the welcoming committee of Albert and Ernie.
04:23Good ponies.
04:26I'm so proud of you like my stepdad.
04:31I am proud of you the two ones.
04:35We are proud of you, you are proud of you.
04:40I am proud to beAhita, Job, You're proud to be proud of me.
