Former Taiwan President Ma Ying-jeou is accusing the current government of inadequately commemorating the end of World War II. The fight against Japan's invasion of China, at a time when Taiwan was a colony of Japan, remains a touchy subject among Taiwan's political parties, as well as on the other side of the Strait.
