00:27Pinatawa ng preventive suspension ng National Police Commission o NAPOLCOM si dating CIDG Chief Police Brigadier General Romeo Macapas

00:36kaugnay pa rin nito sa nagpapatuloy na embistigasyon sa kaso ng mising sabongeros.

00:40Ayon kay NAPOLCOM Vice Chairperson and Executive Officer Attorney Rafael Kalinisan,

00:45siyam na pong araw ang ipinato na suspensyon sa general.

00:48Noong August 14 nang magsumitin ang kanilang reklamo,

00:51ang tinaguriang whistleblower na si Alias Totoy at ang kapatid nito na si Elakim sa NAPOLCOM.

00:56May kaugnayan daw ito sa pagmamalabis na ginawa ni Macapas para pigilan ang pag-usad ng kaso sa mising sabongeros.

01:37naghain ng reklamo ang IMIS nang NAPOLCOM laban kay Macapas sa Legal Affairs Service para sa grave misconduct

01:43at conduct unbecoming of a police officer.

01:45That the charge is serious or grave and the evidence of guilt is true.

01:51Or, there is evidence to show that the respondent is hurting efforts to harass, intimidate, coerce,

01:59or unduly influence the complainant or his or her witnesses into withdrawing the complaint

02:04or retracting the sworn statement against the respondent or to tamper with the evidence.

02:09Hindi na nagpa-unlock ng panayam si Macapas pero sa isang text message,

02:13sinabi nito na normal na proseso lang ito at nakahanda niyang sagutin ang reklamo.

02:18Si Macapas ang dating CIDG chief na inatasan na magtuloy sa embistigasyon ng kaso.

02:24Bukod sa labing dalawang polis na nauna ng nasampahan ang kasong administratibo

02:28at kay Police Brigadier General Macapas na pinatawan ng suspensyon,

02:31sabi ni Kalinisan, may panibagong apat na opisyal ng PNP

02:35ang kanila ring iniimbestigahan na may direktang kinalaman sa kaso.

02:38Bagamat hindi pa inilalabas ang pagkakilanlan,

02:42sabi ni Kalinisan, ilan sa mga ito ay hiniral din.
