00:00In a world increasingly marked by fragmentation and competing blocks,
00:05connecting Asia and Europe has never been more crucial.

00:13shares how this can be achieved and the EU's role as a key partner in the region.
00:20ASEAN is the third largest trade partner for the European Union.
00:27Just last year we had trade with ASEAN around 300 billion euros in service.
00:37Additionally, trade in service was 130 billion euros.
00:45So ASEAN for us and Asia as a whole is such an important partner and we absolutely advocate
00:54for more integration, more cooperation, more connectivities. Connectivities not only in a
01:04transport sense but connectivity in the sense of people-to-people exchange, education exchange,
01:15climate cooperation in every aspect.
01:18Beta also shares ASEAN works in fostering closer cooperation between the two regions.
01:24At the BOA forum roundtable discussion, digital transformation, green transformation was very much
01:33discussed. I would like to stress that also our foundation, we are doing a lot of projects
01:37dedicated to new technologies, new green transformation developments. So
01:44So I hope that our efforts will bring some positive agenda to the Europe and Asia cooperation.
