00:00We still have some unclarities due to the executive order coming from the US and
00:15regarding the postal shipment of goods from one country into the US. For example
00:21regarding the data exchange and the customs regulation and unless we have
00:27clarity in these questions we will have to suspend the shipment of goods
00:34via the postal networks from Germany into the US. There is not a big impact for
00:40our private customers who want to ship goods from Germany to the US because the
00:45shipment of goods until 100 US dollar or 85 euros is still possible if it's
00:52declared as gift and for our business customers we have a shipment alternative
00:57and that is DHL Express. The change of this rule is not a big surprise but the
01:06time frame is very challenging for us because the new regulation comes into
01:11place from August 29 and we don't have enough time so not only us but all
01:17postal providers don't have enough time to guarantee a safe and legal shipment of
01:25goods to the US.
01:33I think it is important to underline that all our members who have even announced the
01:40actual suspension of the traffic. It is close to 20 members so far and more may come in the next days.
01:51They all talk about temporary suspension so the idea is that to return to this new
01:58normal as soon as possible nevertheless the development the testing and
02:04implementation of the new solutions which comply with the new requirements takes time.
02:15A group of our customers are the SMEs or certain customers who send items with higher value to the United States but we do
02:30think that it definitely has an impact on the commerce between the two continents.

02:57package of the U.S.
02:59The envoys to the United States, the rules have changed since yesterday,
03:03according to a decision taken by Donald Trump,
03:07on the taxes of the douane.
03:10Since yesterday, the clients can't send any copies to the United States,
03:15only if the content doesn't exceed 80 euros,
03:20or 100 dollars,
03:22or if it's a gift to the destination, or if it's a gift.
03:25So these are very very very limited conditions.
03:27Now, the clients who want to send a copy to the United States
03:30will not be able to do it from the automates,
03:32but only at the gates,
03:34because they want to be able to help them,
03:37because it's not certain that all clients are aware of this new decision.
03:41And so, as we want the satisfaction of our clients to be our priority,
03:44we will take them directly at the gates.
