Cadillac will join the Formula 1 grid in 2026 with Sergio Perez and Valtteri Bottas as its inaugural drivers, according to CNBC. The team confirmed Tuesday that it signed both veterans to multiyear deals, though financial details were not disclosed. Cadillac becomes the 11th F1 team and only the second U.S.-based entrant in series history, with General Motors as the constructor under the Cadillac brand. Between them, Perez and Bottas bring 527 Grand Prix starts and 16 wins. Perez was recently released by Red Bull Racing and called the opportunity a “huge responsibility." Bottas said joining Cadillac represented “a long-term vision” and a chance to shape a new team from the ground up.
