00:02We see these violent traffickers that were taken off the street.
00:06This juxtaposed a little bit with the fact that there was a murder in D.C., in Anacosta last night.
00:12Yeah, unfortunately.
00:14Can you weigh in on that a little bit?
00:16We saw, you know, the president, vice president, a number of different individuals saying that the streets have never been safer.
00:22But there was a murder last night, and I just . . .
00:26You know, I have to give the president kudos for everything he's doing.
00:30No one has bothered to bring in the resources of law enforcement, federal and local.
00:36I mean, the DEA, the FBI, you know, the marshals, the Park Police, the Capitol Police, the Metro Police.
00:45I'm sure I'm leaving someone out.
00:47But that is a scenario that we should all be grateful for, because it puts us in a position of making us safer.
00:54Are people going to commit crimes? Of course they are.
00:56But I think everyone in this room knows that there is a small percentage of individuals who commit the violent crimes,
01:04and who repeatedly do it, especially in an area where, you know, there's no such thing, you know, as bail.
01:11And so, what we've got to do is try to identify who those people are, take them out of the community,
01:18based upon their criminal acts, and the law, and the evidence, to make this place safe.
01:24Are we going to make it perfectly safe?
01:26You know, God, I hope we can.
01:29But no one other than President Trump has put the resources, the effort, the energy into doing this.
01:36How much more are we going in this?
01:38I have one question.
01:39I have one question.
01:40I have one question.
