00:48This next week po, simula na itong Philippine Creative Industries Month.
00:52So we want to know, ano po yung mga preparations na ginagawa ng ating pamahalaan patungkol dito sa month-long celebration for our creative industry sector.
01:03So we have prepared a lot for this year's creative month, o it natawag natin kusim, no?
01:09So this is in line with the mandate talaga ng ating gobyerno relative to RA 11904 or the Philippine Creative Industries Development Act.
01:20So nabanggit kanina, every September, sineselebrate talaga natin ito to promote yung sector, to raise awareness,
01:29at the same time, i-recognize yung malaking contribution ng ating mga creative sa ating ekonomiya.
01:35So all of these are done under the leadership of our trade secretary, Christina Roque,
01:43dahil ang DTI po ang chair ng Philippine Creative Industries Development Council.
01:49So highlight po for this year's PISIM Month celebration is the first ever Malikhaing Expo, Malikhaing Pinoy Expo.
01:58So dito po natin ipapakita, yung nabanggit kanina, yung mga talento, husay, at inubasyon, inubasyon ng mga Pilipino.
02:06So we will be featuring the nine creative domains under the law,
02:11kabilang na dito yung audio-visual media, digital interactive media, creative services, design, publishing, and printed media,
02:20performing arts, visual arts, traditional cultural expression, and cultural sites.
02:27Kumbaga, these are 73 sectors coming in one roof to celebrate the Creatives Month through the Expo.
02:36Well, Ms. Ueya, sino po ba yung mga stakeholders, sino po ba yung mga kababayan natin dapat maging interesado
02:42at makibahagi dito sa pag-view sa event na ito?
02:45Actually, this event is open to all.
02:51Studante, professional, the creative sector, and even yung mga gustong mas makilala or mas matutunan kung ano ba yung creative sector.
03:02Kasi sinasabihin natin na pag-creative talents, ganyan, arts and crafts,
03:08hindi natin alam na even yung animation, gaming, design is also creativity, performing arts.
03:16So for those people, online content creation na medyo nagbuboom ngayon, di ba?
03:21So kung kayo po ay nahihilig sa mga ganitong linya, punta po kayo sa ating Expo.
03:28Doon makikilala niyo yung different sectors na magka-partner namin na magbibigay ng hindi lang mga workshop, seminars,
03:35pero mag-showcase din yung kanilang mga artworks.
03:39Ms. Ueya, paano nakatutulong itong Malikain Pinoy Expo pagating doon sa pagpapalago ng ating mga local businesses and industries dito sa bansa?
03:48Actually, the Expo is a kick-off ng ating programa for the Philippine Creatives Industry.
03:58So we are providing platform for them to go there, network, collaborate, sabi ko nga kanina,
04:05to know who are the partners and possible they can work together.
04:10So we are making a platform for them for them to know who are the sectors.
04:16And pwede silang makipag-network and to know yung kanilang mga services and all.
04:25So we do hope that through this Expo, madala pa rin natin ito sa ibang riyon para at least we will be able to cover
04:33not only yung mga creatives na natin here in Metro Manila, but also those in the regions.
04:38Well, ma'am, yung mga nakalipas pong Expo na ginanap, may mga success story po ba kayo kung saan nagkaroon ng network
04:46ang isang mga stakeholders sa pagpunta doon at mas lumago yung kanilang mga negosyo o kanya-kanyang industriya?
04:53Actually, this malikahing Expo is the first for the creatives.
04:58Kasi alam natin na DTI usually trade fairs and all, di ba?
05:01But nakita kasi namin yung success nung mga nakaraang trade fairs na ginagawa natin
05:08and even yung mga trade fairs na ginagawa or Expo na ginagawa ng ating mga kapatid
05:14sa kabilang mga opisina ng DTI.
05:16And we realized that aside from pagbibenta ng mga food services, mga tourism and all,
05:24why not open this platform also, this kind of method for us naman yung mga creatives
05:33magkaroon ng platform or magkaroon din sila ng somehow pag-selebritan ng kanilang mga talents and all.
05:43So, we have invited not only mga successful organizations but also mga freelancer individuals
05:50na naging parte po ng mga programa namin for the past year.
05:55So, makikilala po natin sila this coming September.
05:58So, we do hope na each one of you will be able to visit our Expo.
