00:00i mean cal raleigh season ends today this dude hit 50 home runs and 107 runs driven in but it
00:06doesn't end today it ends in a little bit over a month i mean he's gonna have 60 home runs and
00:13probably 125 or more runs driven in it's a historical season at catcher have we seen
00:20anybody do this since piazza behind the plate offensively i'm not sure by the way he's a better
00:24catcher than uh defensively than piazza ever was too huge point and that was the point when we were
00:31starting to see this happen in the middle of the season where i was like okay he has it's more
00:36likely that he puts up a catcher season that we've never seen before than not and here he is doing it
00:40but when you compare the best offensive catcher seasons we've seen most of them are guys that are
00:46very offensive driven and i know cal is you know not quite defending if you look at some of the
00:51advanced metrics the way that he has and you know the seasons where he's competing for for gold
00:55gloves but he's still a really really good defender and it's not just the catching unique aspect to it
01:02it's also the switch hitting side of it too where he's the first switch hitter with 20 home runs
01:06from both sides of the plate i it's it's just a unique season in every way possible but you pair
01:14that with the fact that he's doing it where you were talking about it before we hit record or before we
01:18went live where you said catcher's probably the second hardest position in sports besides qb
01:23he's doing that and he's not slowing down for a team that is not slowing down either
