For a variety of reasons, we'll go and knock on somebody's gun.

We know they don't know what they're talking about.

But because we like them, because they hang around us,

because they may be popular, maybe because they're wallowing the pity party,

we'll go and ask them for advice that we know they do not have the ability to offer.

And the sad part about it, some of us act on that stuff.

Bad information is, bad information out.

And we find ourselves wondering, why is it that I am so powerless in my life?

Why is it that I can't get beyond point A?

So, my brothers and sisters, we need to divest ourselves of people that are not helpful in our lives.

In other words, we need to let some folks and some personalities go

that are not helpful in us gaining the knowledge we need to walk the journey with God.

I don't care what they look like.

I don't care what they profess to have on the wall.
