00:00Iginit ng Armed Forces of the Philippines na hindi madaling alisin ang BRP Sierra Madre sa Ayungin Shoal,

00:05lalo na't may namatang tugboat ng T-Post Liberation Army Navy ng China doon.

00:10Inangulat ni Patrick De Jesus.

00:14Namataan simula kahapon ang pag-aligid ng isang tugboat ng PLA Navy ng China,

00:195 nautical miles mula sa BRP Sierra Madre sa Ayungin Shoal.

00:23Ito'y ilang araw matapos ang isinagawang drill ng China sa lugar,

00:26kung saan nag-deploy pa ng armadong RIB at fast boat ang China Coast Guard.

00:31Pero sabi ng Armed Forces of the Philippines, hindi naman ito nakaka-alarma.

00:35At posibleng ang pag-deploy ng tugboat ay kung sakaling magkaroon ng aksidente ang mga barko ng China.

00:42While this is not a cause for alarm, it is not also a reason for us to be prepared for them to tow away BRP Sierra Madre.

00:52It will take more than a tugboat to pull out BRP Sierra Madre.

00:58Our assessment is that this is more for their own use in the event that they would need a tugboat to pull out any of the ships

01:05that would run aground in the shallow portion of Ayungin Shoal.

01:31Una ng sinabi ni AFP Chief of Staff, General Romeo Browner Jr.

01:36na isa sa itinutuling na red line sa West Philippine Sea

01:39kung may masawing Pilipino na maaaring maging mitya ng Mutual Defense Treaty para sumuporta ang Amerika.

01:46Bukod sa isang tugboat na nanatili sa bisinidad ng Ayungin Shoal,

01:51ang labing tatlong barko ng Chinese Maritime Militia at dalawang China Coast Guard

01:55na may distansyang 2 nautical miles mula sa BRP Sierra Madre.

01:59Sa kabila ng iligal na presensya ng mga barko ng China,

02:03ipinangako ng AFP na magpapatuloy ang mga RORE mission.

02:08The rotation and reprovisioning of our forces is a moral obligation of the leadership of the armed forces.

02:18Regardless of any threat, any coercive-aggressive action, it will be conducted.

02:24We owe it to the men and women in the front lines

02:27to provide them with the appropriate support that they need,

02:30especially food and other important supplies.

02:34Samantala, mayorya ng mga Pilipino ay walang tiwala sa China

02:39at marami rin ang sumusuporta sa pag-iit ng karapatan ng Pilipinas sa West Philippine Sea.

02:45Ayon sa isinagawang survey ng Okta Research noong Hulyo na may 1,200 respondents,

02:5185% ang nagsabing hindi katiwa-tiwala ang China,

02:5474% ang naniniwalang ang China, ang pinakamalaking banta sa Pilipinas,

03:00habang 76% ang sumusuporta sa mga hakbang ngayon ng pamahalaan

03:05para ipaglaban ang West Philippine Sea.

03:08Ikinalugod ng Department of National Defense ang resulta ng survey

03:12na nagpapakita ang mas marami ng Pinoy ang may pakialam sa usapin ng West Philippine Sea

03:17na inspirasyon ng pamahalaan para protektahan ng ating karapatan

03:22alinsunod sa International Law at 2016 Arbitral Ruling.
