Taiwan’s government-run postal service, Chunghwa Post, has suspended shipments to the US due to new US tariff rules. This comes in response to the US government’s decision to end tariff exemptions on low-value goods.

00:05because of new U.S. tariff rules.
00:08Starting Friday, Washington will end tariff exemptions on goods worth $800 or less.
00:15That means every package will now face import charges.
00:18And as postal systems worldwide don't support prepaid duties,
00:23Tsonghua Post says it can no longer handle these deliveries.
00:26It will still send documents to the U.S., but parcels must now go through private couriers like DHL and FedEx.
