00:00Our nation's capital, just left the Kennedy Center.
00:03We're spending a lot of money wisely on making it really beautiful.
00:07It's going to be beautiful again.
00:09It's like Washington, D.C.
00:11We had, by the way, in Washington, D.C., we have the lowest crime numbers they've had in years.
00:17Zero, it sounds like it's a horrible thing to say, but I might as well say it.
00:22Zero murders in the last week since we've done this.
00:26That's the first time in memory that that's happened.
00:28And you can believe it, how pathetic that is to have to even say.
00:32And I'm tired of listening to these people say how safe it was before we got here.
00:36It was unsafe.
00:37It was horrible.
00:38And Mayor Bowser better get her axe straight or she won't be mayor very long because we'll take it over with the federal government, running like it's supposed to be run.
00:46The numbers were horrible.
00:48It was a crime-infested rat hole.
00:52And they do have a lot of rats.
00:53We're getting rid of them, too.
00:55And we've made a lot of progress.
00:56And it was extremely unsafe, and now it's extremely safe.
01:01We had virtually no crime.
01:03The number was down 87 percent.
01:06And I'm trying to figure out where was the 13 percent because I don't think it existed.
01:11The National Guard has been unbelievable.
01:14And they're working with the police.
01:15And they have some very good people in there.
01:17They have some people that shouldn't be police, actually.
01:19But they have some great people there.
01:22And Washington, D.C. is a whole different place.
01:26And, Johnny, I'm sure you'll be happy to hear that, too, actually.
01:28Oh, yes.
01:29But it's a whole different place.
01:30People are excited again.
01:32They're going out to restaurants again.
01:34That was the other thing I saw in numbers.
01:36That restaurant business is down in the last week.
01:39No, no.
01:39Restaurant business, you can't get into a restaurant.
