Swathi Reddy, a 21-year-old pregnant woman, was brutally murdered by her husband in Hyderabad.

00:08Inside the bag were the chopped body parts of his pregnant wife, Swati Reddy,
00:12who was brutally murdered by him in Hyderabad. Police say the accused 27-year-old Mahinder
00:16Reddy killed his 21-year-old wife after a quarrel over family disputes.
00:20In a bid to erase evidence, he chopped her body with a hexa-blade,
00:23stuffed the parts into plastic covers and made multiple trips to the Musi river to dispose of them.
00:28CCTV footage captured him leaving the house, with a bag containing the remains.
00:32Police recovered the victim's torso and legs from their residence,
00:34while the search continues for her head and hands. The horrific act came to light
00:38when Reddy informed his sister that Swati had gone missing, but later confessed during police
00:42interrogation. Investigations also revealed that the couple often fought over family disputes.
00:48In April 2024, Swati had even filed a domestic violence complaint against him in Vikarabad.
00:53On August 22, 2025, the victim reportedly told her husband that she wanted to stay at her
00:57parents' home after a medical check-up, a decision Reddy opposed. The quarrel escalated and on the
01:02same day, he decided to kill her. Police have now booked Mahinder Reddy under charges of murder
01:07and destruction of evidence. The recovered remains have been shifted to the Gandhi hospital mortuary
01:11and searches are still underway in the Musi river.
