00:00Good evening. Well, there's plenty of sunshine coming up on Monday before turning downhill
00:05Tuesday and Wednesday with low pressure becoming more dominant. Now, having a look at the bigger
00:10picture, we've got this area of high pressure just sinking its way south and eastwards through Sunday
00:15and Monday. And then this area of low pressure moving in. This is actually ex-Hurricane Erin,
00:21and it's going to bring bands of rain or showers and another frontal system as we go through
00:26Wednesday. Also, some large waves as well, especially along western coasts. But back to
00:33the rest of this evening. And any lingering cloud will clear its way eastwards across the Midlands
00:38and northeastern England, generally melting away. And then for many, clear skies overnight. We'll see
00:44a few mist and fog patches developing, especially across northern England and into Scotland. And
00:49across Shetland, still holding on to cloudier conditions here with some patchy outbreaks of
00:54rain. Otherwise, a bit more of a breeze developing, especially across southwest England and into
00:59Northern Ireland. But temperatures will be holding up in the double digits. So for those off on bank
01:06holiday Monday across much of England, Wales and Northern Ireland, it is fine. It is dry and settled.
01:12And Scotland's going to see a much brighter picture here through Monday as well. So any cloud across the
01:17southeast will clear its way through. But we'll start to see some cloud building across Northern Ireland
01:23later on in the afternoon ahead of this band of rain that could be quite heavy at times. We've also got
01:29a bit more of that southerly breeze developing. So actually, that'll draw up some warmer air as well
01:35and drier air. So temperatures are going to be rising. So a hotter day to come on Monday. Highs up
01:41to 28 or 29 degrees for the Midlands and even parts of Wales. But even into Scotland, highs up to 24.
01:49So as we go through Monday evening then, this band of rain will continue to push in from the west,
01:55affecting much of Northern Ireland. So a damp end to the day here and then into Scotland and running
02:00down into Wales and the southwest of England where it could turn quite heavy at times. Otherwise,
02:05it's staying at dry for the longest across the far southeast. But otherwise, temperatures are still
02:11holding up overnight. So as we start Tuesday morning, a bit unsettled out there for some of us
02:16with outbreaks of rain. That'll gradually push its way eastwards and it will generally break up as it
02:22does so, but replaced by showers. So sunny spells, scattered showers into Tuesday afternoon. But there'll
02:29be many places that probably avoid those. In terms of temperatures though, feeling fresher now out towards
02:35the west, temperatures returning closer to average. But across the southeast, still temperatures holding
02:40up here, 26, possibly 27 degrees. So for more details on all of that and the unsettled weather to come,
02:48make sure to hit subscribe so you don't miss any updates. And I'll see you soon. Bye-bye.
