00:00Belly has just ruined her life in the 7th episode of The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3.

00:04And unfortunately, the tragedy won't end here, as she will ruin the lives of Jeremiah and Conrad as well in Episode 8.

00:12So, let's talk about it.

00:14In Episode 7, we watched both Belly and Jeremiah having their bachelor parties.

00:18Not gonna lie, even though it was kind of empty, the first half of the episode was kind of fun.

00:23We even got a small dance sequel, which made me feel like I'm watching High School Musical, but let me know how you felt about it.

00:30The thing that threw me off for sure was that unnecessarily long bed scene between Jeremiah and Belly.

00:36Because, let's be honest, most of us are not rooting for these two.

00:40Especially if you read the books, you know that these scenes are present only in the show, and they make everything even worse.

00:46Because now Belly is known as the girl, and I quote,

00:49whose only body count is Jeremiah and his brother.

00:53And I don't know about you guys, but it kind of disgusts me.

00:55Like, correct me if I'm wrong, but I doubt I'll ever be okay with sleeping with both brothers.

01:00To no one's surprise, though, fun did not last for so long as Belly started to realize what a big mistake she was making.

01:07She found out that Conrad was the one who convinced her mother to be a part of the wedding.

01:11And this triggers her.

01:12I mean, this triggers her bad.

01:14She realizes that Conrad truly loves her.

01:17And even worse, Conrad has been loving her since forever.

01:20And yes, our brightest son, Belly, just realizes this, if you can believe that.

01:25So, this leads her to spiral completely.

01:27Is it just me?

01:28Or is she considering that if Conrad is the one who loved her more, then she should pick him?

01:33Because, I don't know about you guys, but this does not sit right with me.

01:37It makes me feel like Belly wants to be loved more than anything else, which is fine.

01:41But a part of me feels like she needs to focus on who she loves more, rather than who loves her back.

01:46Because, being loved is great, but it is not enough to be with someone.

01:50You need to love them back.

01:52And no, unfortunately, you don't love the one that loves you the most at all time.

01:56Life is simply not that fair.

01:58But I guess Belly is still not aware of this.

02:01Then, as expected, Conrad overhears Jeremiah's friends joking about his cheating.

02:06And the thing is, as these annoying frat bros were mocking him by saying he cheated on Belly

02:11the moment he spent a couple of minutes away from her, Jeremiah does not protest.

02:16Like, I get that he wasn't feeling good, but still.

02:19Your friends are insulting not only you, but also your fiancé with these words.

02:24Will you still remain silent like that and be fine with these words?

02:27What kind of a man are you?

02:31But to me, these scenes feel like Jeremiah does not really feel sorry about the cheating.

02:37After hearing this, Conrad decides to let Belly know of the cheating scandal

02:41and gets surprised to find out that she already knew.

02:44I mean, of course he is disappointed in her for being so chill about this.

02:52This is not the Belly that we know and love.

02:54This is not what Belly deserves, despite her shortcomings.

02:58When Conrad expresses these feelings, though,

03:00Belly says something in the lines of,

03:02He is not worse than you.

03:04Which is crazy to me.

03:05Like, Belly girl, are you for real right now?

03:08I know Conrad was not the best boyfriend by any means,

03:11but come on now, he has never done anything as bad as cheating on you.

03:15Like, seriously, guys, am I the only one who thinks this way?

03:20Our boy Conrad cannot get enough of Belly's rejections and insults toward him, though,

03:24so he cannot help himself to confess his feelings,

03:27to the point that he even says,

03:29I still love you.

03:30Yeap, words Belly was hoping to hear since she was like five or something.

03:34As you can expect, Belly gets mad, dismisses him,

03:38saying that he only confesses right now because she is getting married to Jeremiah.

03:43So she is trying to turn this into a typical petty sibling rivalry.

03:48And I get where she is coming from, but I don't think she is completely fair.

03:52Because I know for sure that Conrad would act the same way

03:55if Belly was marrying a random guy from the school in two days.

03:57So no, I don't think this confession of feelings is about Jeremiah at all.

04:02And yes, deep down, Belly also knows that Conrad is sincere.

04:06He is speaking from the heart.

04:08So once she is away enough, she breaks down, trying her guts out.

05:01and ask what she expects to see from him.

05:05that will allow me to look at your face again, he says,

05:09underlining that she is about to marry his brother.

05:12Belly, on the other hand,

05:13will scream and say that he is not welcomed here, not anymore.

05:16She then decides that she cannot get married

05:19without letting Jeremiah know

05:20of what happened between Conrad and her.

05:23She believes this would be a marriage

05:24that is built on lies.

05:26I mean, Belly, are you serious right now?

05:29Anyway, when she goes to face Jeremiah

05:30and reveals that Conrad confessed his love for her,

05:33Jeremiah will lose his shit.

05:35He will question Belly about her feelings for Conrad.

05:38Belly will deny them, of course,

05:40but Jeremiah won't buy it.

05:42He will ask her about the Christmas she spent with Conrad.

05:44Turns out, he knows about it all along.

05:47Turns out, Conrad already told him about it,

05:49assuming that he knew about it.

05:51Jeremiah will naturally interpret the secrecy of Belly

05:54as a sign that she feels guilty about this encounter,

05:57since she felt something towards Conrad.

05:59Which is absolutely true.

06:00I mean, we know this.

06:02Jeremiah knows this.

06:03Conrad knows this.

06:04Belly herself also knows this,

06:06but for some reason, she keeps denying it to this day.

08:01letting Belly and Jeremiah to get married in peace.
