00:00Just to win more than what we lose and just miss out on the five, it's just a really good yardstick from where we can start from next year.

00:14Not that you've probably ever lost them, but back here in droves and loving it.
00:17Yeah, so obviously this is all I know, what they're doing and I can only go on the word of the people around the club that what we've done.
00:28And so I feel very happy to be able to do that to the town.
00:35I didn't do it, the boys do it. I just try and lead me best.
00:40But the way the town's embraced us boys and what I liked about it is the 16 and 17 year olds that were in that shed just then singing the song and out on the ground.
00:50They're the future of this club. They don't want to go to the Maitlands and Cessnops and that.
00:53They come to Currie and play some quality footy and get coached.
00:57Mate, the other great thing I think from the fans' point of view is that you've signed quite a few of the boys already for the next year.
01:04Yeah, they'll keep coming out over the next weeks, but we've signed everyone here.
01:09There's not a player that hasn't re-signed yet.
01:11And we're talking to a few others.
01:16You know, like we don't need to go out and chase guys now.
01:19There's people wanting to come to Currie.
01:22We're fielding some calls to come here, so that's a good thing for the club.
01:26I think the other great thing too is the under-17s seem to be doing so well in Division 1.
01:34Yeah, so I come down here last night.
01:37They had a team dinner, which was fantastic.
01:39The parents put a team dinner on.
01:41They got me and Jack, my son, come and presented the players with their embroidered grand final jerseys.
01:50And, you know, I get a kick out of that stuff.
01:53I know, I think Jack's the first time he's ever done something like that.
01:56He got a kick out of it, and those kids were just, you know, bright as anything.
02:02So we'll be all there as a first-grade squad supporting them next Saturday.
