00:18You put a hat on.
00:18You put glasses.
00:20Come on, let's try a disguise.

01:00Can you tell me how to get, how to get to Sesame Street?

01:16Can I teach?
01:26No, no.
01:27What?
01:27Oh, hi.
01:28Oh, hi.
01:37Chris is reading me a great story.
01:38Chris is reading me a great story.
01:39Right, Chris?
01:40Yep.
01:41Okay, go on, go on, go on.
01:42You'll love it.
01:43So the green frog told the princess, please help me.
01:48Let's see.
01:49I used to be a prince.
01:50I used to be a prince.
01:51But I was turned into a frog.
01:52Oh, oh, by a wicked fairy, I bet.
01:55Yep.
01:56Yeah.
01:57Let's see.
01:58What?
01:59Said the enchanted frog, if you'll kiss me, I'll turn back into a prince.
02:04Oh, I'd kiss him.
02:05I'd kiss him.
02:06Let's see.
02:07He was green with warts, but the princess liked him.
02:11Oh.
02:12That's sweet of her.
02:13Mm-hmm.
02:14Let's see.
02:15So she kissed the frog and...
02:18Yeah.
02:19And?
02:20And she kissed the frog and what?
02:22What turned the page, Chris?
02:23Turned the page.
02:24I'm sorry, Abby.
02:25It's stuck.
02:26It's stuck.
02:27I'm sticking what happened to suspense.
02:29Please, Chris, Chris.
02:30Okay, okay, okay, okay.
02:32So she kissed the frog and...
02:35Presto!
02:37He was a prince.
02:39And they lived happily ever after.
02:42That's right.
02:43Look, it says it.
02:44And they became friends and lived happily ever after.
02:48Oh, thanks, Chris.
02:50Oh, you're welcome, Abby.
02:51Hey, listen, you better take your trash to Oscar.
02:53Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
02:54See you later.
02:55All right.
02:56Thanks a lot.
02:59What a story.
03:01I mean, a princess kisses a frog and turns him back into an enchanted prince.
03:07A frog, of all people.
03:10He's an enchanted prince.
03:12Well, I tell you, it just goes to show you.
03:16You never know who is a prince.
03:20Never say thank you to a grouch.
03:23Never, never, never, ever, ever, never.
03:26You know, someone on Sesame Street could be a prince.
03:30I'm sorry?
03:32Don't give me I'm sorry.
03:34It's too late.
03:36I just...
03:37You already said thank you.
03:38I just...
03:39I'm just going to quit while I'm ahead.
03:41Take a long hike, too.
03:44It could be Oscar.
03:47Wow, he's green.
03:52Just like the frog in the story.
03:55And I reject your trash, too.
04:02Ow.
04:03Wow.
04:06And no one could really be that grouchy.
04:11Unless he was a prince who was turned into a grouchy.
04:20Once upon a time, in a story, handsome Prince Oscar lived in a golden trash can.
04:28And people brought him the finest trash, worn out gold and jewels.
04:34And he was nice.
04:37Your Highness!
04:38Oh, my Highness says thank you.
04:41You know, you're not so low yourself.
04:43Oh, Prince, there you are, my offering.
04:47Oh, thank you, beautiful peasant girl.
04:50No, thank you.
04:51Thank you, thank you.
04:52No, thank you.
04:53Appreciate it.
04:54It's lovely trash.
04:56A fairy grouch mother saw Prince Oscar being nice.
05:01And she didn't like it.
05:04Well, Eric, give my regards to Mary.
05:07Have a nice day.
05:09And then hurry back.
05:10La-dee-da.
05:12Oh, yuck.
05:14He's saying thank you and please and la-dee-da.
05:21This has got to stop.
05:24She waved her wand and turned him into a grouch.
05:31I have brought you more trash, Prince Oscar.
05:36No, Oscar, a grouch formerly known as Prince.
05:41What kind of trash is this?
05:43Beautiful jewels?
05:45Pearls?
05:46Pearls?
05:47Beautiful pearls?
05:48What can I do with these?
05:50I'm a grouch.
05:51I know.
05:53My pig will love them.
05:55Here, piggy, piggy.
05:56Pearls before swine.
05:59Just like in the story, Oscar is a grouch until someone kisses him and turns him into a prince.
06:15And guess who's gonna kiss him?
06:18Me.
06:19Oh, Oscar.
06:20Oh, Oscar, Oscar, Oscar, Oscar.
06:25Oscar?
06:26What do you want, wand face?
06:31I...
06:32I want to kiss you.
06:33Huh?
06:34No, no, no, no.
06:36No, no, no, no.
06:37Please desist.
06:38Never kiss a grouch.
06:40But you're not a grouch.
06:43You're a prince.
06:44Don't call me that.
06:45I'm a grouch.
06:46Prince.
06:47A grouch.
06:48Prince.
06:49Grouch.
06:50Prince.
06:51Grouch, grouch, grouch.
06:52Until I kiss you.
06:54Prince.
06:55Hey.
06:56Yes.
06:57No fair flying.
06:58Yes.
06:59No fair flying.
07:00Oh, boy.
07:01Oh.
07:02Ah.
07:03Didn't lay a lip on me.
07:04Now buzz away, fairy wings.
07:06Oh, but Oscar, I'm just trying to kiss you.
07:09Prince.
07:10A grouch.
07:11Prince.
07:12A grouch.
07:13Prince.
07:14A grouch.
07:15Oh, but Oscar, I'm just trying to help you.
07:18To kiss you.
07:19And to turn you back into a prince.
07:21But I'm a grouch.
07:24Oh.
07:25Golly.
07:26Oh.
07:27He went down again.
07:29Oh.
07:30I can't kiss him.
07:31Well, I'll just have to wait until he comes back.
07:34Hmm.
07:35Whoa.
07:36What is that?
07:37Assign.
07:38No kissing.
07:39What?
07:40He's up.
07:41Now hear this.
07:42Huh?
07:43This is a no kissing zone.
07:44All kissers leave immediately.
07:46Whoa.
07:47Oh.
07:48He's down.
07:49Ah.
07:50He's up.
07:51To say I'm going down.
07:52Forever.
07:53What?
07:54I'll be ordering in from Szechuan Grouch.
07:56Goodbye.
07:57Oh, dear.
07:58If he stays down there forever, I'll never be able to kiss him.
08:11Unless I go down there too.
08:14Ha ha.
08:15Ilya Kazoo.
08:16Ilya Kazan.
08:17Into the top of Oscar's can.
08:20Ha ha.
08:21Going down.
08:26She can't kiss me down here.
08:31Ha ha.
08:32Hi, Oscar.
08:33It's Abby.
08:34Oh, she's going to kiss me.
08:36Ha ha.
08:37Missed me.
08:38Ha ha.
08:39You kissed my billy goat Lassie.
08:42Ha ha ha.
08:43Oscar.
08:44Oh.
08:45She's one persistent pixie.
08:47Where are you?
08:48Ha ha.
08:49Oh, you just kissed Spot, my pig.
08:54She never gives up.
08:57Ha ha.
08:58Muack.
08:59Muack.
09:00Muack.
09:01She's kissing the piano.
09:02Muack.
09:03She's kissing everything.
09:04Oh.
09:05Oh.
09:06Oh, no.
09:07I may be next.
09:08Where's my trampoline?
09:09Muack.
09:10Muack.
09:11What are you doing?
09:12Leaving.
09:13Whoa.
09:14Whoa.
09:15Whoa.
09:16Whoa.
09:17Whoa.
09:18Whoa.
09:19Whoa.
09:20Whoa.
09:21Whoa.
09:22Whoa.
09:23Hey, Oscar.
09:24Whoa.
09:25Oh, hey.
09:26You.
09:27You're just the guy I want to see.
09:30You sell everything, Chris.
09:32Yeah.
09:33So you've got to give me a disguise so Abby won't know it's me and she'll stop trying to kiss
09:38me.
09:39Kiss me.
09:40She wants to kiss me and turn me into a prince like the frog in the story.
09:44Huh?
09:45Ah.
09:46Yah.
09:47Ha ha.
09:48Where is Oscar?
09:51Hooper's door.
09:52There.
09:53Hey.
09:54You look terrible.
09:55Yeah.
09:56Hey.
09:57Thanks.
09:58Look at this.
09:59Now she'll never know it's me.
10:00What a perfect disguise.
10:01Then she'll leave me alone too.
10:02Uh oh.
10:03It's her.
10:04Uh.
10:05Bond's the name.
10:06James Bond.
10:07Oh, hi.
10:08Oscar.
10:09Oh no.
10:10She knows it's me.
10:11Oh, Chris.
10:12Chris.
10:13You gotta help me.
10:14Protect me.
10:15She wants to kiss me.
10:16It's for your own good.
10:17I just am trying to make you a prince again, prince.
10:19I'm not a prince.
10:20Or so.
10:33I'm not.
10:34Or so.
10:35I'm not.
10:36Or so.
10:37I'm not.
10:38I'm not.
10:39I'm not.
10:40Oh, and I'm not.
10:41Friends.
10:42Huh?
10:43I think I can fix this.
10:44You say you're not a prince.
10:46I am not a prince.
10:48OK.
10:49Then let Abby kiss you.
10:51Kiss a grouch?
10:53Yeah, yeah.
10:54You see, if she kisses you and you don't turn into a prince,
10:58she'll know it's not like the frog story.
11:00And she'll leave you alone.
11:03Won't you, Abby?
11:04Well, all right.
11:06If he doesn't turn into a prince after I kiss him,
11:10I'll leave him alone.
11:12Oh, he'll turn into a prince, all right.
11:15Oscar?
11:17Well, all right.
11:19Just one teeny, tiny, short kiss.
11:23I'd prefer a near miss.
11:24Hey, get ready for the kiss.
11:26Oh, oh, oh, wait, wait, wait, wait.
11:30OK.
11:31OK, good.
11:32OK, ready, set.
11:34Wait, wait, wait.
11:34You better stand back.
11:36Because when he turns into a prince,
11:37there's going to be a loud bang and probably a lot of smoke.
11:41Yeah.
11:42OK, I'll move back a little.
11:44OK.
11:44Ready, set.
11:46Oh, wait.
11:47You better put your fingers in your ears.
11:49Uh, don't know why, but OK.
11:51OK, yeah.
11:52Oh, and you too.
11:55Good, good.
11:56OK.
11:57Ready, set.
11:59OK.
12:01I wonder what'll happen.
12:02I wonder what'll happen.
12:04Keep it quick.
12:05Kiss!
12:07Yuck!
12:16Hey.
12:17I'm still me.
12:19I'm here.
12:21Me, Oscar the Grouch.
12:22No prince.
12:23Well, Abby, I guess he's not a prince after all.
12:27Heh, heh.
12:28Boy, what a let down.
12:30It was more fun when the frog became a prince.
12:34Well, that was an enchanted fairy tale frog.
12:37Abby, one in a million.
12:39Most frogs are just frogs.
12:41And if you kiss them?
12:42They stay frogs.
12:43And they like it.
12:45A frog is what they want to be.
12:47Yeah, like I want to be a grouch.
12:48Heh, heh.
12:51I don't want to be a prince sitting on the throne.
12:56Rather be a grouch here in my can alone.
13:02Reading trashy papers full of yesterday's news.
13:08Or doing a grouchy dance with worn out shoes.
13:16I don't want to wear a crown with diamonds that flash.
13:21Because I've got a better hat I found in the trash.
13:25Heh, heh.
13:27A hat for a grouchy and shaggy fella.
13:31Standing in the rain with a broken umbrella.
13:37I don't want to be a prince.
13:39No siree.
13:40Or some marquee.
13:42Or maitre d'.
13:44I need to be.
13:45I've got to be.
13:46I want to be me.
13:51Oscar the Grouch.
13:53Hm.
13:54Oh, Oscar.
13:56I don't care if you're not a prince.
13:58I love you just the way you are.
14:01No, no, don't get me, I just...
14:02Yes, I'm going to get you.
14:03Oh, stop.
14:04No, no.
14:05Hey, hey.
14:06No, she's hugging me.
14:07Oh.
14:08Some days you can't make a nickel.
14:09Oh, come on.
14:10Get away from me.
14:11Oh, you're so cute.
14:12I'm out of here.
14:13Hey.
14:14You're so cute.
14:15See ya, guys.
14:20Important, you're important.
14:23Anybody can see.
14:25Important, you're important.
14:29You mean a lot to me.
14:32If you're going for a roller skate.
14:35If your hook needs a little bait.
14:38If your dog don't want to sit.
14:41Or you're sleepy just a little bit.
14:43I'll be there most certainly.
14:46Cause you're important.
14:48You're important to me.
14:51Important, you're important.
14:55Anybody can see.
14:57Important, you're important.
15:00You mean a lot to me.
15:03If your favorite tooth came loose.
15:06If you can't open up your juice.
15:09If there's no wind for your kite.
15:12Or your haircut didn't turn out right.
15:15I'll be there sure as can be.
15:17Cause you're important.
15:19You're important to me.
15:22Important, you're important.
15:26Anybody can see.
15:28Important, you're important.
15:32You mean a lot to me.
15:35You mean a lot to me.
15:38You mean a lot to me.
15:47Hi, I'm Jack.
15:48Yeah, and Elmo's Elmo.
15:50And we're here to tell you about the most awesome word in the whole wide world.
15:53Well, what's the word, Mr. Jack? What's the word?
15:55Okay, the word is disguise.

16:05To make it hard to tell what it is.
16:06Oh, a disguise!
16:08You know what, Elmo?
16:09What?
16:10I happen to be a master of disguise.
16:12No!
16:13Oh, yeah.
16:14In fact, I can totally disguise myself.
16:16And you would never, ever, ever even know it was me.
16:19No!
16:20Oh, yeah!
16:21Check out my disguise expertise in action!
16:23Oh, okay!

16:29Wow!
16:30Nice haunted glasses, Mr. Jack.
16:32Wait a minute.
16:33What?
16:34You knew it was me?
16:35Yes.
16:36Then you saw through my disguise!
16:37Well, Elmo guessed so.
16:38Okay, all right.
16:39I just have to dig a little deeper in my treasure trove of disguises.
16:42Excuse me!
16:43Oh, okay.
16:44Elmo will excuse you!
16:45Mr. Jack, it's funny!
16:46What?
16:47You knew it was me again?
16:48Yes!
16:49But what about my disguise?
16:50Oh, oh, sorry.
16:51That's it.
16:52I'm done.
16:53I guess my powers of disguise are no longer potent.
16:54I give up.
16:55But, Mr. Jack, where you going?
16:57Oh, oh, oh, Mr. Chicken, have you seen Mr. Jack Black?

17:03That's it. I'm done.
17:04I guess my powers of disguise are no longer potent.
17:07I give up.
17:07Oh, Mr. Jack, where are you going?
17:12Oh, oh, oh, Mr. Chicken?
17:14Have you seen Mr. Jack Black?

21:30I am so bored, said Bob.
21:32I got the blahs, said Bob.
21:34Even the bands got the blues, said Bob.
21:37But just then, a big blue bus bumped by.

25:17Counselor Agnes, Counselor Agnes, we were playing ring toss.
25:21Uh-huh, and I was winning.
25:21I was winning, and now we can't play.
25:24There's a kid from outer space in our camp.
25:26Well, look at that.
25:29Welcome to Camp Wacky Lake.
25:31Do you want to play ring toss with Melba and Arnie?
25:34I don't want to ring toss with Melba and Arnie, dork.
25:37But Counselor Agnes, we don't want to play with him.
25:41And why not, my little campers?
25:43He talks funny.
25:44He's green, and has squiggly eyes that come up from the top of his head.
25:50And I bet he doesn't even know how to play ring toss.
25:54Ring toss, we're going to throw.
25:56Well, let me tell you something, campers.
25:58Just suppose you went to Little Zork's summer camp, or whatever they have there, and you
26:03wanted to play with his friends, and they thought you looked funny, and they thought you talked
26:09funny, and you probably wouldn't know how to play whatever it is they play there.
26:13Well, how would you feel, my little wacky campers?
26:17It wouldn't feel good.
26:19I wouldn't like it.
26:21Okay?
26:22Okay.
26:23Okay.
26:24You want to play ring toss?
26:26Ring toss?
26:27I don't want to play ring toss.
26:33Ah, I want him on my team.
26:37Me too.
26:37Ah, Countess, my little sucker-tot.
26:53It is now time for us to reveal the number of the day.
26:58Ah, yes.
27:00You will count, my schnitzel, until I shout,
27:04Stop!
27:10Oh, be still, my heart.
27:13And that will be the number of the day.
27:17Hit it, Mike.
27:18Number of the day, number of the day, number of the day, of the day, of the day.
27:27Hey, hey, hey!

27:33Is it four?
27:34Is it five?
27:35Is it six?
27:36Is it seven?
27:38Well, be great if it's eight and divine.
27:40If it's nine, or ten, or even eleven.
27:46Could it be twelve, or maybe thirteen, or even fourteen, can begin a begin.

28:05Seventeen is the number of the day.
28:08Ah, ah, ah.
28:10Oh yes!

30:08Sixteen.
30:10Seventeen.
30:16Oh, hello there.
30:18It is I, your cute and furry
30:20traveling pal Grover, friend to
30:22globetrotters everywhere.
30:28I just rolled this bundle of reeds
30:30all the way back from Germany.
30:32And boy am I kaput!
30:36Ahh!
30:42But this is no time for napping, no!
30:44There is work to be done!
30:46Yes, I must take these nifty little reeds
30:48here and thatch a thatched
30:50roof out of them, just like my German friend
30:52Paul. What? You do not believe I can
30:54do it? Oh, I can do
30:56it! Yes, and I am going to, too!
30:58Right here, right now, before your very
31:00eyes! Well, maybe not before your
31:02very eyes. I will probably do it off camera when you're not
31:04watching. In fact, I have a little film
31:06I would like you to see.
31:08Roll it, Sam!
31:10Oh, Sam, I did not see you there.
31:12Wait, no, no! Sam! I have a film, brother!
31:14No!
31:16My name is Paul.
31:18I live in Germany.
31:20That's me with my dad
31:22and my little brother, Franz.
31:24My dad is a roofer.
31:26He works way up high, making roofs for all kinds of buildings.
31:32Today, he's making a special kind of roof called a thatched roof.
31:38It's made from reeds.
31:42That's Henning. He works with my dad.
31:46Henning is showing us how they use wire to hold the reeds together.
31:52First, he puts the wire through a hole in a very long needle.
31:58The needle helps him push the wire through the reeds.
32:04Then, he uses another needle to pull the wire back through.
32:10Then, he ties a knot to hold the reeds down,
32:22so the wind can't blow them away.
32:30During lunch break,
32:32my dad helps Franz and me
32:34to make a roof for our birdhouse.
32:36Even birds need a roof to keep them warm and dry.
32:44Some of the reeds stick out.
32:46My job is to pound them
32:48so everything looks nice and even.
32:54There, our birdhouse has a beautiful new roof.
32:58Thanks to me,
33:00meinem Bruder
33:02und meinem Papa,
33:04a new roofer.
33:06Ta-da!
33:07I did it!
33:08My very own thatched roof.
33:10Hey, is it not beautiful?
33:12It sure feels good to have a roof over my head.
33:14Hey, you remind me of a birdhouse I saw in Germany.
33:18Oh, why thank you.
33:19But you see, I'm not really a birdhouse.
33:20Here you guys, come check it out!
33:22Whoa!
33:23Whoa!
33:24Nice!
33:25Whoa!
33:26Whoa!
33:27Whoa!
33:28Whoa!
33:29Whoa!
33:30Whoa!
33:31Whoa!
33:32Whoa!
33:33Whoa!
33:34Whoa!
33:35Whoa!
33:36Yo!
33:37Murray has a little lamb who wears a little bow.
33:40Whoa, Murray!
33:41It's time for school.
33:42But where's my little lamb?
33:55Mary has a little lamb.
33:57Mary has a little lamb.
33:59Mary has a little lamb.
34:01Mary has a little lamb.
34:03It's time for school.
34:05But where's my little lamb?
34:07Huh?
34:09Where'd she go?
34:11No!
34:13Hi, Obieza!
34:15What school are we going to today?
34:17Ta-da!
34:19Ooh.
34:21What is this?
34:23A flower!
34:25Yeah, a flower.
34:27And where does a flower grow?
34:29A garden!
34:31Yes, I think I know where we're going.
34:33We're going to...
34:35Gardening School!
34:37Escuela de Cardineria!
34:39Yay!
34:41Yay!
34:51What happens in this garden?
34:53Generally in a garden like this one, we grow things that look pretty.
34:57Uh-huh.
34:58And sometimes things that look pretty are also things that you can eat.
35:00Wait a minute.
35:01Spinach!
35:02Spinach has leaves.
35:03Can they grow in the garden?
35:04Yes.
35:05Wow.
35:06I see something.
35:07Just like that.
35:08You know what I like?
35:09What?
35:10I like flowers.
35:11Yeah, me too.
35:14Que bonita!
35:16What color do flowers come in?
35:18White.
35:19White.
35:20What else?
35:21Pink.
35:22Red.
35:23Red.
35:24And purple.
35:25And purple?
35:26And how about my favorite color of all?
35:27An orange flower.
35:28Orange?
35:29Well, right now we don't have any orange flowers, but...
35:30Maybe I could just stand there like this and pretend it would be the orange flower.
35:33How do you plant a flower?
35:35You use seeds and water and sunshine.
35:38That's so much stuff a flower needs.
35:40I thought you just put it there and it just grows.
35:43Is that true?
35:44No, no.
35:45So what do I do first when I'm going to plant?
35:46We want to rake off any debris, any bits of old plant or petals.
35:50We want to make sure the soil looks nice and clean.
35:52So here's what we're going to do.
35:53When we plant, we're going to use this.
35:55This is a trowel.
35:56Does everybody know what a trowel is?
35:57A shovel!
35:58It is.
35:59It's like a really small shovel.
36:00Now, they're not very big, but they are kind of heavy, so you do have to be careful,
36:04okay?
36:05Just like sugar on a spoon.
36:06Put it right next to the hole.
36:07Perfect.
36:08Kareem, I'm really good at digging.
36:10Watch my digging moves.
36:11You ready?
36:12Okay.
36:13Ah!
36:14Ah!
36:15Ah!
36:16Ah!
36:17You think I'm going to be good at digging?
36:18Yes.
36:19Once we get the plants in the ground, what else do they need?
36:32Um, uh, company?
36:34Uh, no.
36:35Well, they do like company.
36:36A nice song, perhaps?
36:37But they need water.
36:38Get that root, all of those roots nice and wet.
36:42Hit it on the heat ducts!
36:45Just press lightly, and you got it.
36:50Wow!

41:31Yeah, what do you do?
41:34No, that's your head.
41:37On your back.
41:38Your back.
41:39You know.
41:40Mr. Noodle has to itch his back on his back.
41:43Yeah, back there.

41:49Be careful, Mr. Noodle.
41:51Now he's dizzy.
41:53See, now he's itchy or dizzy.
41:55I'm dizzy.
41:56Don't give up.
41:58He needs something.
42:00Maybe there's something you can do to scratch your back, Mr. Noodle.
42:04He's on the floor.
42:06He's scratching his back on the floor.
42:08Look at him go.
42:10I don't think he's working.
42:11You need help.
42:14Get somebody to help you.
42:16Elmo can help you.
42:18Yeah.
42:18Elmo will scratch Mr. Noodle's back.
42:21OK, yeah, turn around, OK.
42:25How's that, right there?
42:26That's it.
42:27Right between the shoulder blades?
42:29Right there.

42:32Yay, Elmo help Mr. Noodle.
42:35Elmo help Mr. Noodle, and Elmo scratch this back.
42:39Oh, huh?
42:40OK.
42:42He's scratching Elmo's back.
42:45Mr. Noodle.
42:48Wait, now what?
42:49Mr. Noodle.
42:51Oh, poor itchy, itchy Mr. Noodle.
42:56What's that, Dorothy?
42:57Oh, OK.
42:59Dorothy wants to ask someone else.
43:01What do you do when the skin on your back itches?
43:07Dorothy, when my back itches, I scratch with this, a back scratcher.
43:13Ah.
43:15When the skin on my back itches, I like to rub it against a tree, Dorothy, like this.
43:25That feels good.
43:27Dorothy, when any animals have itchy backs, we take turns scratching each other's back.
43:33I scratch my back, and I scratch yours.
43:36Thanks, everybody.
43:37Oh, and thank you, too, Dorothy.
43:39Now, Elmo will ask a baby.
43:42Do-do-do-do.
43:43Oh, hello, baby.
43:45Baby, what do you do when the skin on your back itches?
43:51Oh, thank you, baby.
43:52Kiss, kiss, kiss, kiss, kiss, kiss, kiss, kiss, kiss, mwah.
43:58Aw, that baby was so cute.
44:07And now, Elmo has a question for oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, you.
44:16Yeah, you.
44:17How many goose bumps are on this chilly hippo skin?
44:21Let's count them and find out.
44:24One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine.
44:35Nine goose bumps.
44:37Oh, oh, oh, and one, one chilly goose.
44:41Oh, that tickles Elmo's skin.
44:44Boy, you silly, chilly goose.
44:47Bye, goose.
44:48Bye, hippo.
44:49Hmm.
44:50That makes Elmo wonder.
44:52What else tickles your skin?
44:54Let's find out.
44:55Oh, drawer.
44:56Open that drawer, please.
44:59Maybe Elmo can tickle drawer to open.
45:04Is drawer ticklish?
45:05Tickle, tickle, tickle, tickle, tickle, tickle.
45:07Can a cupcake tickle your skin?
45:11No.
45:12But it can make your skin messy.
45:14Yum, yum.
45:15Can a ladybug tickle your skin?
45:17Yes.
45:18It tickles when it crawls on your skin.
45:20That's right.
45:21Can a feather tickle your skin?
45:22No.
45:23Can a feather tickle your skin?
45:24Yes.
45:25It tickles when it crawls on your skin.
45:27Yes.
45:28It tickles when it crawls on your skin.
45:30That's right.
45:31Can a feather tickle your skin?
45:33Yes.
45:34Feathers tickle your skin.
45:35Unless you're a bird.
45:36My skin is covered with feathers.
45:37And they don't tickle me at all.
45:38They just need to be fluff now and then.
45:39Fluff, fluff.
45:40Fluff, fluff, fluff.
45:41Fluff, fluff.
45:42Fluff, fluff.
45:43That's good.
45:44Elmo has mail.
45:45Oh, Elmo has email.
45:46Yay.
45:47Computer, come back here.
45:48Elmo has mail.
45:49Computer, stop.
45:50All right.
46:08Oh ho ho.
46:11Hey there, Elmo.
46:16Hey, Elmo is it.
46:17Why?
46:18Hey, Elmo, did you know that your skin helps you feel things?
46:22Well, that's why I'm wearing this blindfold.
46:23You see, I'm going to feel something with the skin on my hands,
46:27and then I'm going to guess what that is without even looking.
46:30Now, watch this.
46:34Let me see.
46:36Oh, wait a second.
46:37There's something now.
46:38Gee, I wonder what this could be.
46:40Ernie.
46:40No, no, no, don't tell me, Bert.
46:41Don't tell me.
46:43This feels kind of soft and fluffy-like,
46:45and it's sticking straight up like a shaggy rug.
46:50No, Ernie, you're touching.
46:51No, no, no, no, don't tell me, Bert.
46:52Don't tell me.
46:53I want to guess this.
46:54Now, let's see.
46:55Moving down.
46:56Oh, wait, wait, wait.
46:57There's more.
46:57There's so much more.
46:58Look at this.
46:59And this kind of feels roundish,
47:01and it's sort of squishy-like,
47:03and it's like a bath sponge.
47:06Yes, yes.
47:06I don't believe this.
47:08Let's see.
47:09Moving on down.
47:11Oh, wait.
47:11This is interesting.
47:12Look at this.
47:13And this part's kind of smooth,
47:15and it feels sort of thin,
47:17and, wow, it's floppy.
47:20It's floppy like a garden hose.
47:23Gee, that's interesting.
47:25Wait a second.
47:26Hmm.
47:27Let me see here.
47:28Now, wait a minute.
47:28This right here is sort of fluffy
47:30and shaggy like a rug,
47:32and this is sort of squishy,
47:33sort of squishy like a bath sponge,
47:35and it's kind of floppy like a garden hose.
47:37I know what this is.
47:39This is Bert.
47:40It's you, Bert, is it?
47:41Bert?
47:42Yes, it's me, Ernie.
47:43Who do you think it is?
47:44Oh, I knew it, Bert.
47:45I could tell because I could tell
47:47by feeling with my skin.
47:48Isn't that amazing, Bert?
47:49Isn't that amazing?
47:50Yeah, yeah, yeah.
47:51Great.
47:52Whatever.
47:52Yes, yes.
47:53I'm going to go read in the bathroom.
47:54Well, but...
47:55Well, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, so long, Elmo.
48:00Uh, hey, Bert, I-I didn't even know you wore a rug.
48:04Bert?
48:05Oh, Bert.
48:05Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha.
48:07Mom!
48:07Oh, thank you, Pewter.
48:09Boy.
48:11Elmo loves finding out about skin.
48:13Elmo's friend, Elaine, learned all about skin in school,
48:16and she told Elmo all about it.
48:19When they got to school, my teacher, Mrs. Michelson,
48:24asked our class what we could learn by looking at her skin.
48:31So we started to investigate.
48:34We could see that everybody's skin looked different.
48:39There was dark skin, light skin,
48:42and all different shades in between.
48:47My skin was dark,
48:50and Cassie had light skin with rosy cheeks.
48:55Then we looked at our skin through a magnifying glass.
49:01It makes things look bigger.
49:04We could see all sorts of things we never noticed before.
49:08There was hair growing out of our skin,
49:13and the front of our arms had more hair
49:16than the back of our arms.
49:19But the palms of our hands didn't have any hair at all,
49:23but they had lots of lines.
49:26So did the tips of our fingers.
49:29Some parts of our skin were smooth, like our cheeks.
49:34Some parts were real wrinkly, like our knuckles.
49:39And elbows.
49:43Then we ran some water on our arms
49:45to see what our skin looked like when it was wet.
49:50The water didn't soak in.
49:52It just rolled right off.
49:54We could see how our skin protects our bodies.
50:01So even though everybody's skin looked different up close,
50:05our skin wasn't really, very different at all.
50:12Wow!
50:13Elaine learned a lot about skin,
50:15but Elmo still wants to find out more, don't you?
50:18How can we find out even more?
50:20Oh, boy, Elmo almost jumped out of his skin, TV.
50:27Oh, good idea.
50:28We can watch the All About Skin channel on TV.
50:33Now, turn yourself on TV.
50:34Welcome to the All About Skin channel.
50:40When it comes to skin, we've got you covered.
50:43And now, the story of the girl who loved her skin.
50:47Once upon a time, there was a girl who loved her skin.
50:54I love my skin.
50:55Mwah, mwah, mwah, mwah, mwah.
50:57She loved it so much that she took very good care of it.
51:01When her skin got dirty, she washed it.
51:04Scrub-a-dub-dub.
51:06When her skin was out in the sun,
51:08she put sunscreen on to protect it.
51:10Rub-a-rub-rub.
51:11When her skin was cold, it got goosebumps.
51:18So she put on more clothes to warm her skin.
51:21Ah.
51:22And when her skin got hot,
51:24it sweated to help cool her off.
51:26Oh.
51:28Ah.
51:31When she went roller skating,
51:33she protected her skin with special padding.
51:36But one day, she fell down and hurt her skin anyway.
51:40Oh, no.
51:41I got a boo-boo on my skin.
51:44Mwah.
51:46The girl's mother loved her skin, too,
51:49and knew just what to do.
51:51She washed the boo-boo,
51:53put ointment on it,
51:54and covered it up with a bandage to keep it clean.
51:58Thanks, Mom.
51:59My skin feels better already.
52:01And every day, the girl's skin felt better and better
52:05until one day, the boo-boo was gone.
52:09Her skin had healed itself.
52:11Wow.
52:12Now I really, really love my skin.
52:16And from then on, the girl who loved her skin...
52:19Really, really loved.
52:21The girl who really, really loved her skin
52:24took really, really good care of it,
52:27especially when roller skating.
52:29Hey, you're going to love the skin you're in.
52:36I'm okay, and so is my skin.
52:38The end.
52:44Coming up next on the All About Skin channel,
52:47that's Skincredible, followed by Skinny the Boo
52:50and Rumble Stilt Skin.
52:52Oh, thanks, Stevie.
52:53Thanks, Stevie.
52:55Wow.
52:56Skin is amazing.
52:58But Elmo still wants to learn even more about skin.
53:01Don't you?
53:03How can we find out even more?
53:04Why don't you look in a book?
53:06Why don't you look in a book?
53:07Hey, yeah!
53:08Oh, oh, can book help Elmo find out more about skin?
53:12Sure.
53:13I'll give you the skinny on skin.
53:15My title is, Even Animals Have Skin.
53:18Whoa, they do?
53:20Sure.
53:22Oh, oh, look!
53:24There's a puppy and a kitten.
53:27Aw.
53:27Like my title says, even animals have skin.
53:32Sometimes you can't see the skin because it's covered by fur.
53:36Oh, like Elmo.
53:37Or by feathers.
53:39Oh, pretty.
53:43Hey, come back here.
53:45I just lost my pictures.
53:48Well, not that one.
53:49Is that a snake?
53:51Yeah.
53:51As snakes grow, they shed their skin and have new skin underneath.
53:59Oh, cool!
54:01No, not you, too.
54:02I don't believe this.
54:04Oh, what's that?
54:06A chameleon.
54:07Chameleons have skin that can change color.
54:10Aw, get out of town!
54:12Don't give him any ideas.
54:16Oh, look!
54:18Dorothy's imagining Elmo as a chameleon.
54:21Sometimes a chameleon's skin changes color when its feelings change.
54:26Oh, boy.
54:28No one's around to play with.
54:30Elmo chameleon is feeling a little sad and blue.
54:38Surprise!
54:39Wow!
54:41Elmo chameleon is polka dotted with surprise!
54:44Yeah!
54:45Oh, what else do these tickle?
54:47Now, Elmo chameleon is tickled pink!
54:49Oh, thank you, Dorothy.
54:52And thank you, too, Book.
54:53Don't mention it.
54:54No!
54:55Come back!
54:56Oh, that really gets under my skin.
54:59Oh, boy.
55:00Elmo loves skin.
55:01And so does Dorothy.
55:02That's why Dorothy wants us to sing the skin song.
55:05Oh, boy.
55:06Oh, boy.
55:07The skin song.
55:08May I join in?
55:09Sure.
55:10You can sing, too, if you want.
55:11Skin, skin, skin, skin, skin.
55:12Skin, skin, skin, skin.
55:13Skin, skin, skin, skin.
55:14Skin, skin, skin, skin, skin.

55:21Skin, skin, skin, skin.
55:22Skin, skin, skin, skin.
55:23Skin, skin, skin, skin.
55:24Skin, skin, skin, skin.
55:25Skin, skin, skin.
55:26Skin, skin, skin.
55:27Skin, skin, skin.
55:28Skin, skin, skin.
55:29Skin, skin, skin.
55:30Skin, skin, skin.
55:31Skin, skin, skin, skin.
55:39Skin, skin, skin.
55:40Skin, skin, skin, skin, skin, skin.
55:42Skin, skin, skin.
55:43Skin, skin, skin.
55:44Skin, skin, skin.
55:45Skin, skin, skin, skin.
55:47Oh, say goodbye, Dorothy.
55:49Say goodbye, book.
55:52Goodbye, book.
55:53Do-do-do.
55:54Do-do-do.
55:55Do-do-do.
55:56Do-do-do.
55:57Do-do-do.
55:58Skin.

56:00Skin, skin, skin.
56:02Skin, skin, skin, skin.
56:04Do you know Rainbow Connection?
56:13Okay, okay, Slimy, I'll read to you.
56:22Just don't say please, okay?
56:25All right, little guy.
56:27Here we go.
56:28Chapter 453 in The Adventures of Trash Gordon.
56:34We last left our hero, Trash Gordon, on the planet Mud, being attacked by the Mudons.
56:42He moved to the right, then to the left, then he had a great idea.
56:49He reached for their favorite dessert, apple pie a la Mud.
56:56They loved it.
56:58Glah, glah, glah.
56:59Glah, glah, glah.
57:00Glah, glah, glah.
57:01Glah, glah, glah, glah, glah.
57:02And the trash broke claimed them proudly.
57:04Ha, ha, ha, ha.
57:06Sesame Street has been brought to you today by the letter B, and by the number A.
57:10And by the number A.
57:20Now, no more now, Slimy, that's all for now.
57:25It's time for you to get some shut-eye, little guy.
57:28We'll read some more trash tomorrow.
57:35Hey, are you still here?
57:37I told you.
57:38No more trash, Gordon, until tomorrow.
