Surfers take advantage of swell caused by Hurricane Erin

High waves wash over New York and Long Island as Hurricane Erin batters the US East Coast, bringing flooding to parts of North Carolina and Virginia. Beaches are closed in New York, but unfavorable conditions didn't prevent surfers from going out for the first storm of hurricane season.
