00:07Tulad na lang sa mapapanood nating kwento ng isang smoked beef restaurant owner.
00:11Kasama si Diane Medina Illustre, dito lang sa Negosyo Tayo.

00:19dahil dyan ay isang smoked meat business ang aming binisita
00:24upang alamin ang kanilang sikreto sa successful na negosyo.
00:30So, we started kami ng friend namin.
00:36We wanted to do, to have a small shop, restaurant, no?
00:41Well, food court po kami.
00:43So, it's just a stall or a hole in a wall.
00:47We are serving legit smoked meats.
00:50Ako kasi naging kusinero din po ako.
00:53That was my first job.
00:54From there, I learned na, okay, ito bagay dito, bagay dito.
00:59So, ano daw, smoked meats, ganyan.
01:01How to make it.
01:03And then, that's how I opened my own business na marunong na po.
01:07Yung una ko negosyo is meat processing po.
01:11We supply to businesses.
01:13So, hotels, restaurants, cafes, ganyan po.
01:16So, and then, nag-usap kami ng partner ko, oh, bakit hindi tayo mag-retail na rin?
01:27So, yun ang ginawa namin.
01:29Yung partner ko, siya yung nag-create ng mga dishes.
01:33We take pride in our smoked, smoked items, smoked meats.
01:38Kasi, no shortcuts po yan.
01:42So, when you say it's smoked meats, talagang malalasahan ninyo, maaamoy ninyo, na it's smoked talaga.
01:49We are very, ah, okay yung presyo namin.

02:06Yung owner, you have to be present all the time.

02:21Pag ikaw yung owner, kailangan, hindi pwede yung mag, walang benta, wala nang gagawin.
02:27Kailangan may gagawin ka.
02:29Before you start any things, dapat know what your strengths are, no?
02:37Kunyari, if kaya mong imagine yung negosyo in your head and then building everything,
02:44yan, sige, go with it.
02:46Pero pag wala ka namang alam doon, huwag mo nang pasokin yan.
02:50If it's there already, never give up.
02:53Ah, hard work and, ah, never give up.
02:56Kahit anong marinig mo, if you believe in your product, go lang and then something will happen.
03:06Sabi nga nila, dream big, start small.
03:09Pero ang mahalaga ay sinimulan mo na.
03:11Yan po ang mindset na ibinahagi sa atin ang business owner na si Jiro Tan.
