03:50See it only in theaters on August 22nd.

03:54a Hollywood starlet retreats to a remote cabin,
03:57but she's not alone.
03:59Betrayed by the man she trusted most,
04:01she's trapped in a brutal game of survival.
04:04She can hide, but she can't run.
04:06Get tickets now.
04:07Rated R from Republic Pictures,
04:10a Paramount Pictures label.
04:14Go see it.
04:16Go watch it.
04:17Go watch it in theaters.
04:20And then if you don't happen to catch it in theaters,
04:23you can watch it digital.
04:25Looks pretty good.
04:25And you know, for the producers,
04:27if the producer of Saw did that,
04:28you know it's going to have some twists and turns.
04:30It ought to be a good show.
04:32It ought to be good stuff.
04:33I think it will be.
04:35We had the PBR over the weekend.
04:37PBR happens.
04:38We did.
04:39For all you PBR fans that like PBR.
04:42So what happened?
04:43So it's pretty cool because, you know,
04:44last time we had the CEO of the Austin Gamblers in here,
04:48they kind of had their back up against the wall
04:50because they've been behind,
04:51even though they've been really ranked as supposed to be the team.
04:54But this week they did make a comeback.
04:56So in the battle of the PBR,
04:57two top teams,
04:58the red-hot Austin Gamblers,
05:00who are 8-3,
05:01rose to the occasion Sunday afternoon in Nashville
05:04and earned their sixth straight win
05:05by knocking off the Arizona Red Riders.
05:083-42 to 1-66,
05:11ending Arizona's nine-game winning streak.
05:13What was awesome is just, you know,
05:14they've got two of their superstars out,
05:17Keiki Pacheco and Jose Vitorlemi.
05:20So they had to have the other guys step up,
05:22and Dalton Castle came out with a freaking amazing ride,
05:2587.75,
05:27and then Dinner Barbosa,
05:28who has been riding lots out since he came back from a serious injury,
05:32and he put up a winning ride.
05:34So they've definitely been able to make a comeback that they needed to do,
05:38and it's going to be interesting to see how the rest of the year plays out.
05:42Have we got a highlight from that?
05:46Let's see what we got.
05:52All day! All day!
05:54Come on!
05:54All day!
05:54All day!
05:55All day!
05:55All day!
05:55All day!
05:56All day!
05:56All day!
05:57All day!
05:57All day!
05:57All day!
05:57All day!
05:58All day!
05:58All day!
05:58All day!
05:59All day!
05:59All day!
06:00All day!
06:00All day!
06:01All day!
06:02Barbosa does indeed turn the lights out on Arizona.
06:09Their win streak is over.
06:12The Gambler's win streak continues.
06:15They've now won six in a row.
06:26You've got to love this.
06:28I mean, what a long weekend.
06:29The fourth bowl dinner's been on this weekend.
06:31It says, yeah, give it to me one more time.
06:33I can do it!
06:33And put the big bow on it.
06:3687 points.
06:38He just needed eight.
06:40That's what he gets.
06:41And then some.
06:42Listen, I know things didn't go your way, but as a team, they absolutely did.
06:47How much momentum does this give you going into your homestand next weekend?
06:52No, I think, you know, momentum's everything, and at the end of the day, I feel like we're
06:56the only team in the league that could lose two absolute superstars in Kaiki and Jose
07:00and have a bunch of young guys step up like they did today, have Dalton just be showing
07:03out like he is.
07:04It's a lot of faith in the team right now, for sure.
07:07What about the rest of these guys?
07:08It's just like they keep rising their level of expectations.
07:12Yeah, just true professionals through and through, top to bottom, every guy in the lineup.
07:15We know we can put him in.
07:16We know we can trust him.
07:17We know the effort's going to be there.
07:18Great attitude.
07:19It's just a special group of guys.
07:20Speaking of true pros, get ready.
07:22Can't wait to see you next weekend.
07:23Yes, sir.
07:25No, Sage couldn't have said it any better.
07:26These guys are really stepping up.
07:28This team event, you know, a lot of people were real skeptical about it first, but I think
07:32these young guys that are just kind of on the bubble, kind of getting into it, being
07:35around these just superstars and leaders, it's really bringing up everybody's game.
07:39So, it's fun to watch.
07:42It is.
07:43It is.
07:44I mean, it's a team.
07:45Everybody's going to the team sport, and it's a team.
07:47You know, like you said, it's different.
07:49You know, you used to be just on your own, but now you've got a team helping you out,
07:52so it works out.
07:54It does.
07:54It puts a little different pressure on you.
07:56Yeah.
07:57These guys seem to be able to handle that pressure just fine.
07:59Yeah.
08:00I guess you don't want to be the first one out.
08:01You want to be the first one to buck off.
08:02I don't know.
08:03I'd rather be the first than last.
08:04I don't want to be like, oh, if you buck off, we're done.
08:06Yeah.
08:07Yeah, I don't think I want that.
08:08Yeah, I'll pass.
08:09Speaking of bull riding, there's a bull riding coming up in Louisville next month.
08:13We've got a little flyer on that thing, I think, over in Louisville.
08:16So, what's happening there at this WSPBR event?
08:20So, that's going to be a really awesome event we've got going on.
08:23So, we're going to start out.
08:24The gate's open at 4 o'clock.
08:26All the tickets are – you can prepay tickets.
08:28Scan that right there.
08:29You can go ahead and get tickets.
08:30They are going fast.
08:31We're going to have a kid's area with a big bounce house, 75-foot obstacle course.
08:36630, the Dustin Perkins Band is going to be bringing some live music.
08:39They just cut a new album out.
08:41So, they're going to be really good.
08:42And then at 8 o'clock, we're going to bring you top 35 senior bull riders that are going
08:46up and down the road right now, guys.
08:47We've got former world champion Ejnay Kaminos is going to be there, Stephen Steele, Sean Moody.
08:53I mean, there's going to be a lot of really great guys there putting on a good show for you guys.
08:56So, do not miss that.
08:57It's going to be fun.
08:58And then after that, we're going to go over to the Electric Cowboy for an after party.
09:02So, it's going to be a good night.
09:03So, jump on the internet and grab those tickets.
09:07You're going to want to see it.
09:08You're going to want to be – it's in the outdoor pen?
09:10Yeah, it's outdoor.
09:11Outdoor arena.
09:11I'll be nice and cool by then.
09:12Be nice and cool by 8 o'clock.
09:14It should be fun.
09:15Good deal.
09:16So, what else happened?
09:16What have you been?
09:17I went to Fort Worth over the weekend to a concert over there.
09:21We went to a ghost concert.
09:23And the crowd at these concerts is interesting because it's a mix of all kinds of people.
09:31I mean, they've got their faces painted and there's guys in dresses.
09:36There's people dressed as priests.
09:38You said it's a ghost concert?
09:40Yeah.
09:40Okay.
09:41I went to where?
09:42They're dressed.
09:43They're entertaining.
09:45The wife likes them.
09:46So, I've had to listen to it.
09:47And they're – I mean, they're all right.
09:48They've got good music.
09:49Their albums are big.
09:51But they put on a show.
09:53So, they put on a show.
09:54So, you've got all these people that throw a fit when they see it, when they see the outfits
10:00and the way they're dressed and all this.
10:01Kind of like they do with Marilyn Manson.
10:03Oh, yeah.
10:03They're like, oh, this is crazy.
10:04This is crazy.
10:05And people forget.
10:08It's entertainment.
10:09Yeah, it's a show.
10:09These are costumes.
10:10It's costumes, man.
10:11It's not everyday attire.
10:12It's kind of like Kiss.
10:13Yeah.
10:13They're painted up and they do a big stage presence and a big stage show.
10:16And it's really entertaining because, like, most concerts you go to, you just sit there
10:20and they're playing music.
10:22Right.
10:22And you're just sitting around.
10:23But this one, there's a lot to watch.
10:26There's stuff going on.
10:26Stuff to see.
10:27And it's a very entertaining show.
10:29Some people take it too serious.
10:31Just like the people that think Yellowstone is real.
10:34And those are real people.
10:36I mean, you have those kind of people that are there.
10:37Oh, I know.
10:37They can't separate reality from fiction.
10:39From entertainment.
10:40Yeah.
10:40So, they were there, too.
10:42But it was a good show.
10:43But what I thought was interesting, because I've never been to this before, it was a no
10:49phones show.
10:51Really?
10:51Yeah, no phones.
10:53So, when you went in, they scanned your tickets off your phone.
10:58Mm-hmm.
10:58And then they had these little bags and they stick your phone in the bag and lock it.
11:01Okay.
11:02And then they had, there was an area, I don't know where it was at, but there was an area
11:05you could go to that if you had an emergency or you had to use your phone or whatever, you
11:08could go somewhere and they'd unlock it and you could make a call or whatever.
11:10Right.
11:10And then go back out.
11:11But it was a no phones deal.
11:14And that was, I mean, for me, I'm used to not being on my phone, so I can sit there
11:17for a couple hours and not being on my phone.
11:20But there were some people just having fits.
11:21Oh, I bet.
11:22I hadn't been on my phone in 20 minutes.
11:23I don't know what I'm going to do.
11:25And so, it was crazy.
11:26The people had to actually sit there and talk to each other.
11:30Oh, yeah.
11:30And watch the show.
11:32Because we've been to other shows like that where when you're sitting there, you've
11:35got everybody standing up, holding their phones.
11:38That's all you see?
11:39And I'm like, man, I hate going to a concert where everybody stands up.
11:44Yeah.
11:45Because I'm not standing up.
11:46I'm sitting down.
11:47I'm going to sit there.
11:48So, luckily, this time, we're on the front row.
11:50So, I was sitting right to the front of D's on the front row where I could see.
11:54Everybody standing up over here and standing up over there.
11:56I'm like, if everybody would just sit down and watch the show, why do you have to stand
12:01up?
12:02I don't get that.
12:03Shoot, no telling, man.
12:06Yeah.
12:06You think you want to pay for a ticket.
12:07You want to actually use the seat you get.
12:09I don't understand.
12:10I don't get to stand up at concerts.
12:12I mean, I get the guys that are down there in the pits or whatever.
12:15Oh, yeah.
12:15That's dope.
12:16But they want to stand up all day.
12:17But I'm not going to a concert to stand up all day.
12:22I don't know.
12:22Maybe we've hit that certain age in our life where it's like, ah, we just want to sit
12:26now.
12:27Maybe back 20 years ago, we'd have been the one up there standing up, jumping around,
12:30doing the wave, throwing stuff in the air.
12:32Yeah.
12:32It's like, I just want to sit down and relax and watch the show.
12:35But we went to the, so we went to the Ariat Club.
12:37That was disappointing.
12:40What was it about?
12:41The Ariat Club.
12:42And in Dickey's Arena, they have the Ariat.
12:43It's called the Ariat Club.
12:45Right.
12:45It's like the restaurant.
12:46So, we looked on the menu, seen all the different steak options and the steaks and this and this.
12:51We're like, man, we want this.
12:52We want to get that.
12:53That steak will be good.
12:55You had to make a reservation.
12:57So, they already charge you 50 bucks a person to make a reservation.
12:59Just to eat it.
13:00Yeah.
13:00For the reservation, which would come off your bill, I guess.
13:03Yeah.
13:03So, we get there and they're like, oh, yeah, we don't have a regular menu tonight.
13:08And they hand us a card.
13:10You had burger and fries, chicken nuggets, or chicken strips, chicken nuggets, a salad, or nachos.
13:20You had to make reservations for chicken strips, nachos, or a burger.
13:27Because when we got there, it was like...
13:28Wow.
13:29Sounds like you're at a concession stand and not a restaurant.
13:31So, we're like, wait a minute.
13:32If we were going to get this, we would have just went downstairs and...
13:35Yeah, you could have went to a water burger and got all that.
13:37We'd have ate before we went.
13:38Yeah.
13:39But, yeah.
13:40So, that was disappointing because I really wanted to try the food there.
13:42And even the waitstaff was like, yeah, we don't know what happened.
13:44This was just a last minute change.
13:46Wow.
13:47It's like the chef didn't show up to work.
13:48That or not enough people wanted to eat at the restaurant.
13:51Oh, yeah.
13:51Which, by looking at that crowd, they probably didn't eat meat, so...
13:55That's why they didn't have enough reservations.
13:57Right.
13:59So, that's probably what happened.
14:01But we got some guests for you guys today.
14:02We're going to talk about...
14:03You know, everybody's been blowing up the internet about all the movie stuff going on.
14:09A lot of stuff filmed here in North Texas.
14:12Matt and I both worked on a couple of shows here in North Texas that filmed.
14:18And that's been pretty fun.
14:19But it's about to blow up and get a lot bigger than what it is now.
14:23And we've got somebody that knows a little bit about that that we're going to talk to.
14:27And that is Ronnie Hummel.
14:29Ronnie, are you there?
14:30I'm here.
14:31Can you see me?
14:32Can you hear me?
14:33There you are.
14:34I'm here.
14:35There you are.
14:36I'm here.
14:36There you are.
14:36I got my Film Texas hat on.
14:39Yes, Film Texas.
14:40Oh, my God.
14:40That's so hilarious.
14:41Yes.
14:42Isn't that cool?
14:43Film in Texas.
14:44Louis Palero.
14:47Yeah, he is actually the director of filmed our movie.
14:50Yeah?
14:50Yeah.
14:52Awesome.
14:52I have that same hat hanging at the house.
14:55Do you?
14:56I do.
14:58Nice.
14:58So let's talk about...
14:59Before we get into what's happening now, give us a little backstory on Ronnie.
15:03Kind of how you got started and got to the talent agency part where you're at now.
15:08Well, it's, you know, it's my own company.
15:14I started actually the film industry.
15:17My very first movie set I ever walked on was on, it was called Indian Paint.
15:22And it was with Chuck Connors and Johnny Crawford and Jay Silverhills.
15:28And this was a long time ago.
15:30I was very little.
15:32So that just started my love affair with the film industry.
15:36I just had to do it from then on.
15:39And it kind of just went from there.
15:41I ended up, as a teenager, I got on a couple of movie sets.
15:46One of them was with Robert Blake that filmed in my hometown of Grand Prairie.
15:51So I got to do a walk-on scene with that, with them.
15:54Then I worked on Burt Reynolds and Chris Christopherson, Semi-Tough, that was filmed here.
16:01And just went from there.
16:03It was off and on through the years, work on films or commercials or whatever the case may be.
16:09And, you know...
16:11Oops, sorry, I'm getting messages.
16:13So it just went from there.
16:15Okay.
16:16Yeah.
16:16I'm still working, by the way.
16:18So my phone's going to be going off.
16:20I'm sorry.
16:20No, that's all right.
16:21Because I am working on casting a few things right now.
16:26But anyway, later on, I got out of the industry for a while because you have family, you raise kids, and you're working and all that stuff.
16:36And then I went back in 2006, and I've been a part of it ever since then.
16:41I worked for a couple of production hubs that went from script to screen.
16:49And we produced several television shows that were very popular, number one hit shows.
16:54And so I did that for about seven years and decided to branch out on my own as casting director.
17:01All right.
17:02So let's dive into that.
17:03How does that work as the casting director when you're doing castings and when you're looking to fill particular roles?
17:12How's that process?
17:14How do you do that?
17:15How's that process work for you?
17:16And what are you looking for in particular?
17:18Good actors.
17:22It's a long process.
17:24It's not easy.
17:25It's not easy.
17:26And you do.
17:27You have to look at skill and talent and actors that are prepared.
17:33And we do have some good actors here in Texas.
17:38And, you know, we've had some Texas actors that moved to L.A. and got famous and then came back to Texas.
17:48And we know who they are.
17:49Been there back in Texas now making TV series and films and things.
17:54So I'm pretty excited about that.
17:56But, yeah, it's a long process.
17:59And I'm very – I love working with actors.
18:02I love holding workshops to help train them.
18:06I talk to them a lot.
18:07And I want to see them succeed and be at this tall, high level.
18:13And give Texas actors an opportunity and a chance to show that they can shine.
18:20And these workshops that you do, how often do you do these workshops?
18:24And how many do you bring in at a time for your workshop?
18:32Usually about 20 people.
18:35And I can't have them all the time because I work a lot.
18:38So it's every few months.
18:40I just had one recently, probably about a month ago, that I brought a cinematographer in that worked with me to show the actors acting for the lens.
18:51And I got some scripts for them.
18:54And he was actually able to film them and film their scenes and give them the footage for their – my light just went out.
19:02Give them the footage for their demo reels.
19:05Okay.
19:05Okay.
19:06So what advice would you give since they're –
19:09I had my lights going in the whole studio.
19:10I thought that was your special effects I'm working on.
19:14So now our question was, with so much new production, new filming that's taking place in Texas, it seems like Hollywood's now becoming Yollywood.
19:25What advice would you give to – I mean, you want to discover new Texas actors.
19:31How would somebody completely inexperienced get into it and to get to be a part of that or get their shot?
19:37It starts with training and coaching.
19:44And, you know, you can cut your teeth on being an extra in these TV shows because that's – you know, they're here to hire a lot of extras for them.
19:53And that's great to do it for a little while.
19:56But if you really want to move up, you want to be an actor that actually has speaking lines and roles in these TV series or movies,
20:05you really need to go through training and coaching with a good acting school or a single acting coach.
20:11And learn it.
20:13Learn protocol.
20:14Learn everything you can about the process.
20:17And auditioning and continuation with your classes.
20:22Even big-named actors still have their coaches that, you know, sometimes go to set with them.
20:28So it's going to be forever.
20:31Okay.
20:32Cool.
20:33One of them deals where you're always learning and you're always –
20:35Yeah, you're always training.
20:36Yeah.
20:37You never know it all.
20:38Yep.
20:39Always learning.
20:40This is very true.
20:41Yeah.
20:43All right.
20:44So what do you got going now that you're working on?
20:46Is there anything you can tell us you're working on?
20:49Oh, yeah.
20:50I can talk about it.
20:51Well, I'm going to say just this past year I did a feature film – well, actually,
20:57it was about almost two years ago when we came back and did some shots, some new shots for it.
21:02It was called Pickleball.
21:03It's a comedy starring Kevin Farley.
21:06And that's wrapped.
21:07And it's in post right now.
21:09So I'm looking forward to seeing that when it's going to come out.
21:12I also did a feature film called Kill Trip, which is an amazing story.
21:18And that's in post.
21:21It's being presented and being looked at for distribution within this next year.
21:26So I'm super excited about that one.
21:30And I'm now working on a short film called Virgin Birth.
21:34I've finished the casting for that, and we're looking for some extras for that particular one.
21:39It's filming out in Weatherford.
21:43Let's see what else.
21:45I'm trying to think.
21:45I know there's something else, but I've got several things going at the same time.
21:51So I work with people from studios a lot.
21:53They're out in Weatherford, and I've been working with them off and on for their live immersives.
21:59I'm also casting for one of their live immersive shows that's going to happen in October.
22:05Okay.
22:07All right.
22:07That'll work.
22:08So if anybody's interested in learning more about the casting and schooling and coaching and things like that,
22:15is your website the best place to send them?
22:19You can.
22:20I mean, the best thing to do in Dallas, Fort Worth, is where I know all the coaches.
22:26I know all the agents here.
22:27I work with all the agents in this area and the coaches.
22:31And if anybody wants to reach out to me privately on my social media,
22:35like Ronnie Hummel Productions is the name of my page.
22:38On Facebook.
22:39It's not Ronnie Hummel Casting.
22:40It's Productions.
22:41Because I also work production side, by the way, when I'm not casting.
22:45Right.
22:45They can DM me, and I can give them a list of coaches and trainers in our area.
22:51Okay.
22:52And help them out with that.
22:54And give them other information.
22:55I can give them my email, and I can talk with them and try to help them out in that area.
22:59Because we do need some.
23:00We need more actors.
23:01We need them to, you know, go from extras to working actors.
23:05Because there is so much coming here.
23:07Yeah.
23:08Okay.
23:09All right, Ronnie.
23:09Well, I know you're busy, so we'll let you get back to it.
23:11But we appreciate you coming on and visiting with us.
23:13And let us know what you got going on.
23:15And we'll send some folks your way.
23:19I appreciate it.
23:20Y'all have a great day.
23:21Thank you so much.
23:23You too.
23:23Bye-bye.
23:23So, there you go.
23:26There you got it.
23:27I heard it here first.
23:28Go to school.
23:29Get a coach.
23:30Go to school.
23:31And learn to act.
23:34Learn to act.
23:36Learn to do it.
23:37Learn to do it.
23:41What movie you got?
23:43You got a movie coming up?
23:44Well, I've got a great movie coming out, especially for all you Gen Xers that grew up watching the Smurfs every Saturday morning on cartoons.
23:52So, they're bringing it back.
23:53Bring home the Smurfs movie on digital now.
23:56It is a fun, epic adventure.
23:58The Smurfs team up with new friends on a daring rescue mission to save Papa Smurf from League of Evil Wizards.
24:05By the film, critics are calling pure comedy magic and over 35 minutes of Smurfastic extras.
24:11Sure.
24:12Love that one.
24:13Including new music from Rihanna and more.
24:15I did hear that Rihanna is playing Smurfette.
24:18So, available for participating retailers.
24:20Rated PG on Paramount Pictures.
24:23So, Rihanna as Smurfette.
24:25All right.
24:29Does she have an umbrella?
24:31As a Smurf?
24:33I guess.
24:34Still got diamonds in the sky during the movie.
24:37Golly.
24:37What else?
24:38We got some time for our next guest assist that we're going to talk to.
24:46We still want to remind you about Renahan Brand.
24:49Check them out.
24:50Renahan Brand, sponsor of the show today.
24:52So, check them out.
24:53We talked to Ronnie.
24:55Sounds interesting about that because I see her stuff all the time.
24:59She's here and there and all these places.
25:02And I'm like, she's got to be busy as all I get out.
25:06I imagine.
25:07And so, I figured with all the stuff coming here that it's going to get busier.
25:13It is.
25:14But I'm still waiting.
25:15So, I haven't seen the release date yet for the Madison.
25:19Oh, yeah.
25:21Part 2 of the 1923.
25:24Well, no.
25:24The Madison is a whole different deal.
25:26What is it?
25:26I thought it was just like a...
25:27It's a Yellowstone.
25:29There's ties to it.
25:31There's Yellowstone ties to it.
25:32Okay.
25:33But it was done filming, I don't know, a long time ago.
25:38They just finished Landman.
25:39It wrapped up a couple weeks ago.
25:41And they were already talking about releasing it in November.
25:44Yeah.
25:44So, I'm wondering where the heck is the Madison?
25:47Because that's what I want to see.
25:49I don't know.
25:49It seems like he's got more stuff going on than Ronnie Hamill does.
25:52Yes.
25:53I mean, it seems like he's got something in every genre and every new thing.
25:58And now he's building a studio?
26:00Is that true?
26:00Is that...
26:01That's not fake news.
26:02No.
26:03They're building a big studio.
26:05By Alliance Airport.
26:06Yeah.
26:06They're putting...
26:06Wow.
26:07They're putting in a big production.
26:08Wow.
26:08A big production studio over there so we can have some big-time movie stuff going on.
26:12Because everybody wants to get out of California.
26:14I don't blame them, man.
26:15They want to leave the Cali's, the state of the Cali's in California.
26:20Yeah.
26:21And leave out of there.
26:22But yeah, I'm waiting to see that.
26:22I saw a story today about the Madison's that's about it coming up.
26:27But I'm like, I couldn't find a release date.
26:29Right.
26:29And I need to see it.
26:31I need to see what happens.
26:32I'm curious to see what made it to screen.
26:36So, I think that'll be fun.
26:39Oh, man.
26:40So, a lot of people today do not know that this exists.
26:47That there is a such thing as a library.
26:50There is a such building called a library full of books.
26:56It's full of knowledge.
26:58That back in the old days, like we had to do, if we want to know anything, you went to the library.
27:04You go to the card catalog.
27:05Yeah.
27:06And you'd go to the, you'd find out which, pull a little index card out to see where your book is you're looking for.
27:12The Dewey Decimal System.
27:13Yeah.
27:13You had to follow the Dewey Decimal System.
27:15And then you go find it, figure out where your book's at, and you get your book, you check it out.
27:20And then, you know, they'll stamp it, hey, you got XML days for this book, and then you take it back.
27:25But, over the years, you know, Google's taken over.
27:29Kids don't know what the library is anymore.
27:30Which, that's, I don't want to get off on that deal, but they complain about taking books out of libraries and schools.
27:39I'm like, do the kids even go to the library in school?
27:42Yeah.
27:42Who goes and checks out a book?
27:43Nobody.
27:44They just Google it.
27:45So, oh, that's dumb.
27:47But anyway, sometimes you rent a book from the library, and you forget to take it back.
27:54And this happened to a book that was in San Antonio's public library.
28:00This book has been past due for a long time.
28:05So, the book was checked out in 1943.
28:10Wow.
28:10Look at that, 1943.
28:13And a 28-day book.
28:17I think they're past 28 days.
28:19Just a little bit.
28:21So, is that the 136, is that what they owe, I wonder?
28:24I don't know.
28:26So, this book's been missing for 82 years.
28:30Let's see what happened.
28:31How did it get, how did it get there?
28:33It got checked out by the writers.
28:35So, whoever found this book, it was their grandma.
28:37Check this book out.
28:38The package was made from Oregon, containing the library's copy of Your Child, His Family, and Friends, by Francis Bruce Strain.
28:48That sounds made up.
28:49Yeah.
28:50The company note explaining the book had been found among the writer's father's possessions,
28:55and it had barely been checked out by this person's grandmother when their father was 11 years old,
29:02just before they relocated so she could work at the U.S. Embassy in Mexico City.
29:07So, she must have took the book with her, and 82 years later, ended up in her position.
29:15So, the writer also says, I hope there won't be any late fees for this book, as grandma can't pay no more.
29:22Well, imagine.
29:23So, they returned the book.
29:27They didn't get any fines, and the book is currently on display in the library, in the lobby of the library,
29:34which was donated to, for sale in the bookseller?
29:39Will be donated to the Friends of the San Antonio Library for sale in the bookseller used bookstore.
29:44So, this book is going on tour now, and then you can buy this historically lost book for the amount of late fees.
29:55Because, what were the...
29:58Could you imagine what that would cost?
30:00I mean, what per day?
30:00How are the late fees?
30:02There's been some of these that I've found that we've talked about, the late fees,
30:06and they would figure the late fee from when it was checked out,
30:09and then you had your inflation or whatever up to what it was,
30:12and there was some that was, you know, hundreds of dollars, whatever.
30:14But I'd be curious to know.
30:16Yeah.
30:17What?
30:18I mean, it's only been gathering a fine for 82 years.
30:22Yeah.
30:2282-year book.
30:24Maybe she was a slow reader.
30:27Maybe.
30:28But I guess it's a well-traveled book, too.
30:31Yeah.
30:32Been to more places than I have.
30:34Yeah.
30:37What happens if your horse was to fall in a hole?
30:39Then what would you do?
30:40Man, so let me tell you this.
30:42So some firefighters in Maryland came to rescue a horse that was attempting to walk over a wooden plank Thursday morning
30:47and it ended up stuck in a hole 8 to 10 feet deep.
30:51The Baltimore County Fire Department said on social media that rescue crews responded to the property of Hanover Road on Thursday morning
30:58when a horse walked over a wooden plank, which gave way, and fell into the pit.
31:02Firefighters teamed up with Howard County Department of Fire Rescue Services,
31:06and special ops had to come out to form a rescue plan.
31:09The equine was sedated and the rescuers ended up borrowing a crane from a local towing company to hoist the horse out of the hole.
31:17Final update.
31:18At 9.36 a.m., the crane assistance from the tow company and the horse is now in the care of the vet.
31:24Approximately 30 fire department personnel was on the scene.
31:27So, the horse did not appear to be injured, but was placed in the care of the veterinarian while it recovered from the sedative.
31:35Hmm.
31:36Interesting.
31:37Very interesting.
31:39What else is very interesting is a movie I saw called 28 Years Later.
31:44I wouldn't have seen that at the theater.
31:47It was different.
31:48It was different.
31:51Certified fresh in what critics are calling the best movie of the year, period.
31:5528 years later, with Ralph Ness, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Jody Comer, directed by Academy Award winner Danny Boyle,
32:03is now available to watch on digital.
32:09So, go check that out.
32:10And watch that show, if you dare.
32:15I don't know why they say best movie of the year.
32:16I don't believe that is true.
32:18But, to each their own, right?
32:21Yeah, I'd like to see who's judging that.
32:23Well, it's not me.
32:26Because I would.
32:27Don't they get to make the list?
32:28It might be.
32:29Who knows?
32:29It could be good.
32:30Yeah, that would not be me.
32:32I guess I can get to this right quick.
32:34We'll do some rodeo duty right quick, and then we'll see what Haley Kinzel has to say.
32:41So, the Lazy E.
32:43The Lazy E in Guthrie, Oklahoma, announced the 2026 Cinch Time Event Championship.
32:47It's going to be March 5th through the 7th.
32:49It will be bringing together the most elite all-around cowboys in professional rodeo.
32:56The iconic arena has also announced 10 athletes who will be returning this year.
33:01The event challenges 25 athletes to excel in five timed events.
33:07Team roping heading, team roping heeling, tie-down roping, steer wrestling, and steer stopping.
33:14I didn't notice they changed that.
33:18The event consists of five rounds in three days.
33:22Consistents are vying for more than $200,000 in prize money.
33:27And the winner claiming the prestigious title and a $100,000 check.
33:34Probably one of those big ones.
33:36Yeah.
33:36That doesn't fit in the bank slot.
33:38The remaining athlete selections are under review and will be announced by the arena in the coming months.
33:44Ten notable competitors have already been extended invitations to participate in 2026.
33:51Additional announcements to follow.
33:52So, so far, on the invites, they've invited Ketch Kelton, which he won $109,000 this year.
34:01Dylan Hancock, Rustin Minton, Seth Hall, Kyle Lockett, Riley Wakefield, Paul Tierney, Russell Cardoza, Marcus Therrett, and Cody Dozier will be the first that have been extended an invitation.
34:18See, Ketch Kelton earned the top podium spot in 2025 with an aggregate time of 338.6 seconds.
34:25Took home the $109,000 payday, winning rounds one, two, and five.
34:31See, Dylan Hancock secured his second place in the aggregate, winning $36,000.
34:38So, they got some money to win.
34:40Tickets on sale November 28th is when you can buy tickets for it, and you can only get these tickets at LazyE.com.
34:50So, I guess I'm not going to have the tickets on whatever that ticket thing I have is.
34:57I don't remember what it is now.
35:00SeatGeek.
35:01So, I guess SeatGeek's not going to have the tickets.
35:02But, any other concert or rodeo event you want a ticket to, go to SeatGeek and use the code Pepper Stewart, I think.
35:11Or Pepper, I don't know.
35:12Look at my website.
35:13But, anyway, do that, and you get $20 off your tickets.
35:15What else do we have?
35:19We'll do Haley Kinzel.
35:22Haley Kinzel sat down with a new series that Pro Rodeo Films is doing.
35:28So, she sat down to talk rodeo, talking about rodeo, rodeo life, and horses.
35:32So, this is a new little bit that they are doing.
35:35So, see what you think about that.
35:36I'm just Haley, and I like horses.
35:41I mean, that's pretty much it.
35:43I love my horses.
35:45I love my friends.
35:45I love my family.
35:46And I do like this lifestyle.
35:48I love the people.
35:49I really like going to all these rodeos and everybody helping each other.
35:53That's just the family spirit behind all this is fun.
35:56I am by myself almost all the time.
35:59I live by myself.
36:00I travel by myself.
36:01But, out here, I'm not.
36:05And Haley Kinzel.
36:09Great first, great second.
36:11Nice and close.
36:12This might be one of the prettiest runs they've made this week.
36:15Nobody's quite kept pace with Haley Kinzel.
36:17She's perfect.
36:18She's got the trifecta.
36:19Wherever you are, if you're trying to live by God's will,
36:25He has you exactly where He wants you.
36:29The bond with the horses, to me, is probably what makes this so special.
36:33And the fact that we are traveling city to city, rodeo to rodeo,
36:36everything about that horse's environment is constantly changing, except for me.
36:39The closest family I have that travels with me is my horses.
36:43And so, I'm with them 24-7.
36:45And that's, like, the reason I want to get up every day,
36:48is just to be around them.
36:50And I love the training.
36:51I love the riding.
36:53I love the competing.
36:53And they learn that whatever situation I put them in, they can know that they're going to be okay.
36:59And then, in turn, that's my job to make sure they are okay.
37:02I become their advocate.
37:03I have to fight for them in every scenario and make sure that they are being taken care of and that they're safe.
37:09It's just a trust thing, back and forth.
37:11I trust them.
37:12They trust me.
37:13And I've said that going down the alley to those horses before, you know,
37:16when you're nervous and you're uptight, and they're nervous and uptight.
37:18And it's just like you have a conversation like, hey, buddy, I trust you.
37:21You trust me.
37:22That's all this is.
37:23And that's what kind of centers it for me and reminds me what we're doing.
37:26When we compete in there, it's a mirror image of what we've been doing every day.
37:30I feel like that bond is something you develop over time with every horse.
37:33And some are a little more trusting than others.
37:35Some are, like, absolutely, I'll be on your team.
37:38And those make it really easy.
37:39There are some that you have to win over.
37:40And it takes a long time.
37:42And it's not through cookies and petting on them as much as that is part of it.
37:46But it's more of just providing for them and letting them know that you're a safe place.
37:51Like, what you are to them doesn't matter.
37:53What else is going on in the arena doesn't matter.
37:55If there's 70,000 people cheering or nobody cheering, it just matters that you are what they can trust.
38:01And so you have to be consistent in that.
38:03Like, in every way I can with words or just with my cues to let them know this is your chance to feel like a beast.
38:10Now show me.
38:11But you're also trying to keep them calm because it's a long walk up there.
38:14And I don't want them to expend all their energy in the back just getting ready.
38:17So it's a very delicate balance of my energy and their energy trying to get them ready.
38:22But I'm also, at that point, I'm locked in.
38:24I'm focused.
38:25Up until that point, I've been telling myself just be grateful to be there.
38:28And that puts me in, like, such a peace that I feel like I don't necessarily have to try super hard.
38:33It's just we're in that moment.
38:34We're jiving.
38:35And that's when my IPS stick starts and I am locked in.
38:40All of my horses are pretty bonded to one another.
38:43They are, I mainly run mares.
38:45And so mares tend to get in, like, a girl gang.
38:47Like, they're all buddies.
38:48And I am, like, their stall girl.
38:51And so sometimes I feel important.
38:53And sometimes I'm like, I just work for this girl gang.
38:57I feel like it's my calling out here to take every ounce of glory I can and throw it back on the one who deserves the glory.
39:04And that's my Lord and Savior.
39:04Because I would have nothing if not for Him.
39:07And truthfully, what's it all for?
39:10My name is going to go away just like everybody else.
39:13Gold buckles will wear off and end up in the trash pile somewhere.
39:16That's just the truth of it, that this life is so fleeting.
39:20And so for me, it's more about why am I here?
39:22Like, the people that I'm meeting, the reason I'm able to do this.
39:25And I do think that every ounce of success I've had has been part of God's plan for me.
39:31But I also don't even feel like it's necessary.
39:33I think He's just being gracious to me.
39:35Because He could use me in a diner, wiping tables in the middle of nowhere if He wanted to.
39:40Like, He could put me wherever.
39:41And thankfully, He puts me here, though, because I sure as heck love these horses.
39:44And I love competing, love what I get to do.
39:47And until He tells me to do something else, I'm going to do that for His glory.
39:50He called me to take care of the land and the animals.
39:53And the animals that are in my possession, which includes Sister, but it includes every horse that hasn't won a dime that I take care of every day.
40:00Those horses are His possession.
40:03And so it's my job to do all I can to take care of them.
40:05But even more surreal than that, it's hard to explain, but it does feel annoying.
40:10It feels like going in the alley, that feeling on Sister, on any horse, of what I'm able to do out here,
40:16I know, like, without a shadow of a doubt, I know that I'm exactly where God wants me to be.
40:20And so as many as I can get, great.
40:22But me and Sister, just to be able to keep showing up these last nine years at the finals and giving ourselves a shot,
40:29that's close enough to a record for me.
40:31You know, that's special enough for me.
40:37All right.
40:38That right there is a new little feature that Pro Ordeo Films is doing to kind of highlight some athletes.
40:45And I got a little fun fact to highlight for you on that.
40:48So back in the old days, during the American, we had the Texas A&M rodeo team on the show.
40:55And somebody was down, I think, at Cowtown or Mesquite qualifying for the barrel racing after that.
41:06And then won it.
41:08So we had Haley Kinzel on before she won the American.
41:09Oh, really?
41:10That's awesome, man.
41:11We had the whole road.
41:11We had the A&M rodeo team on.
41:13They were doing something.
41:14I forget what they were doing.
41:14But, yeah, they had the whole crew on the show.
41:18But, man, she's made it a long way since then.
41:20And she's still up and running.
41:22I've been doing this way too long.
41:26Way too long.
41:27But I will tell you this.
41:28We do have something else to tell you guys about.
41:33In our rodeo stuff, talking about rodeo, we've got some rodeo athletes that not only compete,
41:39but also, I guess you would say, entrepreneurs in their own right.
41:43And with that, we do have Ranahan Brand here with us.
41:49What is happening?
41:50Hi there.
41:52We're doing good.
41:52How are you, Pepper?
41:53Oh, we are doing good.
41:54Just sitting around talking about stuff.
41:57See what you guys were up to.
41:59So before we dive into this brand, so let's go back a little bit.
42:06So you guys grow up ranching, rodeoing, and all that?
42:10Or how did that come about?
42:13Well, we both grew up in rodeo families and both competed since we were little kids.
42:18I started out riding sheep and calves and ended up being a professional saddle bronc rider for over 15 years.
42:27And pretty much the same for Cora.
42:29She did every event in high school rodeo that girls can do and excelled in barrel racing and breakaway roping.
42:37Yeah, Jordan and I met in college.
42:40We both went to Missouri Valley on a rodeo scholarship, and I competed in the breakaway roping and the goat tying, and he was still a bronc rider.
42:49And here we are.
42:50And there you are.
42:51So let me ask you this about this, you know, from college to now.
42:56How much have you seen the breakaway roping explode over the last few years?
43:04Yeah, it's been fun to watch.
43:06I wish that I was a little younger so I could be right down there with them, you know, 20 years old and going to all those big rodeos.
43:13But we've gotten to get a little piece of it here the last few years, and we're having fun with it still.
43:19Okay.
43:20All right.
43:20So, Jordan, so you're not riding anymore?
43:22Are you just ranching or what's going on?
43:25A little bit.
43:25My brother-in-law's got a big cattle herd, and I help him out quite a bit with the ranching aspect of things.
43:32And we've got a horse training program that we've recently started up since I quit riding.
43:38I've got a little more time now that I'm not rodeoing as much.
43:42Yeah, the last one I got on was November of 23 at our circuit final, so it's been about a year and a half.
43:49Okay.
43:49So, yeah.
43:50All right.
43:51So how did this Ranahan brand come about?
43:55Where did the idea come from?
43:57Yeah.
43:58So I've been in graphic design for about eight years, and throughout that time, I was working with promotional items and doing a lot of marketing.
44:07And the company I was working for relocated.
44:10And so I knew that relocating wasn't an option, but I always wanted to stay in the marketing and the graphic design field.
44:18And we were like, why not put all of our talents and all of our interests and joys and abilities together and start something that we can provide for others in the Western industry that we love?
44:30And how has that taken off from the very beginning, you know, getting into it and then getting yourself out there and to the people?
44:39How's that grown over time?
44:41Yeah, so it's pretty new yet.
44:45We've been on the market for just about a year, and it's started off with a bang, better than we could have ever expected.
44:53We're still definitely baby steps on getting our feet on the ground running here.
45:00Yeah, it's definitely, I mean, it took off quicker than I expected for sure.
45:05And it's, she works very, very hard on all this, all the, you know, every product that she's developed is, it comes with a lot of thought and it shows in the product.
45:18Um, and I couldn't be more proud of her for what she's come up with.
45:22Yeah, we're on one man show.
45:24We do have a social media, uh, content creator.
45:27His name's Willie.
45:28You guys might be familiar with them.
45:30Oh yeah.
45:31Oh, Willie.
45:32Yeah.
45:33Oh, Willie.
45:34He's awesome.
45:35We love him.
45:36He does such a good job for us.
45:37But other than that, um, all of the branding and, um, our website and, um, the products and everything kind of boils right down to what we have created together.
45:48Okay.
45:49All right.
45:50And are you, I don't even got the online store.
45:52Do you do any, any travel, any setup when you travel or, or anything like that?
45:57You know, set up vendor areas and things like that when you go different rodeos or.
46:02We haven't had the chance to do that yet.
46:04That's something that we have in store for 2026.
46:08We really want to start making a mark on showing up at trade shows or different events.
46:13And we have some people who are really excited about it as well to help us out on the road.
46:17So you will see us somewhere soon.
46:20I'm sure.
46:21Okay.
46:22That's, that's going to be my next question.
46:23Cause the, the WESA show just wrapped up here in Dallas and then they'll be back again.
46:27They come back, I think at the end of the year or next year.
46:30And they have, that's, you know, that's, that's the trade show you want to go set up.
46:34And, uh, it's, it's, it's a huge, it's a huge place, but okay.
46:39That'll work.
46:40So what part of the country say you're in?
46:42Are you still in Missouri or are you, where are you living?
46:45We migrated back up to the North country.
46:48Yeah.
46:49We're located in Minnesota.
46:50Yep.
46:51I'm from Iowa originally, but this is where we ultimately landed.
46:54It's too cold.
46:56That's too cold.
46:56The city is about an hour.
46:59That is, that's too cold.
47:01That is way too cold for me.
47:02Do you have, do you have any summertime up there?
47:05How does it, how does it work from, from the weather?
47:07I've always been curious because every time I see anything up there, it's covered in snow.
47:11So the summertime here is, is beautiful.
47:15Like you, you'd love it for sure.
47:16It's just a little shorter than what you're used to down there.
47:20So yeah, unfortunately we have like five good months of summer.
47:24I'd say if we're lucky.
47:28What about snow?
47:29How does the snow work up there?
47:29Is snow all winter or do you have, is it up and down or how does that, how does, how does
47:34the cold, cold weather work up there?
47:37It's definitely up and down.
47:39And there's years where, like, I think it was a couple of years ago, there was, I think
47:42the third most, the third most snow that they've ever got, like as far as a yearly
47:48basis.
47:49And there was like 90 plus inches or something like that.
47:51And that was extreme.
47:52Like, and then the next year after that, there was hardly any, like we maybe got eight inches
47:57or something whole winter, but it definitely gets cold for sure.
48:01I've seen, I've seen the, seen those videos where they're flying through there, throwing
48:05hay out of a helicopter to feed the cows.
48:07I'm like, man, I do not want to be part of that.
48:09So what all, what all do you guys have in your, in your market?
48:13I mean, what all are you guys making?
48:15I know he mentioned shirts and hats and hoodies.
48:18Yeah.
48:18So right now we have ball caps and Western long sleeve shirts.
48:22We have some really cool t-shirts coming out.
48:25Actually tomorrow they'll be dropping.
48:27They are called the drift cool short sleeve tees.
48:31Um, essentially they're, uh, athletic tee that will keep you cool and, um, will wick your sweat
48:38away from you.
48:39Um, we plan to have, uh, quite a bit of more, uh, products coming out this fall.
48:45Um, as far as like zip ups and sweatshirts and, um, more graphic tees, um, really just gonna
48:53broaden our, our inventory as much as we can here within the next year and just keep growing
48:59as much as we can as well.
49:02Okay.
49:03Yeah.
49:03That's when I say, when I say them, that's what I liked with the ones you had the, like
49:07the quick dry, was it like the quick dry or the, the breathable stuff?
49:10Because it's hot down here.
49:12Yeah.
49:13It's a little different.
49:14Our summers are a little longer, so we definitely need to wick that sweat away.
49:17Yeah.
49:18It is hot.
49:19It is hot.
49:20Yeah.
49:21Yeah.
49:21It gets hot up here too.
49:23I tell you what, yesterday it was so dang humid and that's what we get the most, I'd
49:27say, is the humidity.
49:29Yeah.
49:29And I've, I've put the shirts to the test.
49:31I'm, I'm a full-time farrier.
49:33So the heat and flies are, are the bane of mine.
49:38Yeah.
49:38I, uh, they definitely keep you cool.
49:40Yeah.
49:41And what's different about our shirts is the material and thickness.
49:45So, um, it's a polyester spandex and we do have like perforation on the backside of
49:52the men's and on the under sleeve of the women's and down the side.
49:56Um, and so that's what we are really excited about.
50:01It's just bringing something new to the market that is out there, but is a little bit more
50:06classy.
50:07The fit is perfect for athletes.
50:09We have been an athlete ourselves.
50:12So we know what we want when we're wearing a Western shirt and, um, this material and
50:18it's thin stretch is just perfect for what a roper, a bronc rider, anybody who's an equine
50:26athlete is looking for.
50:28Definitely.
50:28Okay.
50:31So it's, it's tested.
50:32If you're out there, if you're running them horses all day, you're putting them to the
50:35test.
50:35All right.
50:36So, yeah.
50:37Yes, sir.
50:38Yeah.
50:38He's going, he's going to know for sure.
50:39He's going to tell you, he's going to say, do this, do that.
50:41I need this.
50:42I need that.
50:42So yeah, you're going to have them, you're going to have them ready to go.
50:45So that's good.
50:48So you got any, are you still, you're still roping or you got any plans of hitting the
50:51big ropings or are you just.
50:54I am roping.
50:55I had take the year off this last season just because we've been so busy with the brand.
51:00Um, I've been giving lessons to girls here around the area and, um, was just at a high
51:05school rodeo last weekend.
51:06It was a ton of fun to go hang out with all the youngsters that are eager to, to grow and
51:12be a part of the sport as they, uh, get into college and everything.
51:16And, um, you know, I plan to get back to roping.
51:20And I'm hoping next season I'll have a little bit more free time so I can get back on the
51:25road and, and get to roping at the big ropings and down.
51:29Yeah.
51:30I can definitely tell she's, she's getting the itch, taking, taking some time off.
51:34She's, she's been roping really well here at the house and I'm kind of excited for her
51:38to get going again too.
51:39It's time to get back after she's going to, she's going to, she's going to haul you along.
51:43She's going to need somebody to work to work the booth.
51:45Oh yeah, definitely.
51:46I think that might be my big gig.
51:48Well, it'll get you out from out of the horses for a little bit.
51:52Yeah, for sure.
51:53All right.
51:54Well, guys, Cora, Jordan, man, we appreciate you visiting with us and tell us about, about
51:58your new company and your shirts and clothing line and what you guys do.
52:01And we'll sure let the folks know about it and, uh, we wish you luck on your, on your
52:06endeavors.
52:07Well, thank you so much.
52:08We appreciate you having us on your show.
52:10It was a blast.
52:11Really nice to meet you.
52:13All right.
52:14Check them out.
52:14Look them up on their website at Ranahan brand and, uh, check out the shirts, get you
52:20some of those shirts.
52:21I'm very intrigued and interested in, uh, in checking these shirts out because as hot
52:28as it is down here, they do seem like they're going to work.
52:31Oh yeah.
52:32We need something like that.
52:34Do they stay tucked in?
52:36That's the question.
52:37Well, if, if they're made by rodeo people for rodeo people, I'm sure if he's a farrier,
52:43he's been over all day.
52:44He knows how to keep a shirt tucked.
52:45He's going to make it a little longer.
52:46He's going to make sure they stay in.
52:48So yeah, that will be, that'll be worth it.
52:50Worth the, worth the, uh, try.
52:51So be sure to check them out.
52:55You still got movies over there?
52:56I do.
52:56I have Mission Impossible.
52:58Bring it home.
52:59Do you mission it?
53:00Is it Mission Impossible or Impossible?
53:03Oh, it is Impossible.
53:04Okay.
53:05So good thing.
53:06Our lives are the sum of our choices.
53:09Bring home Mission Impossible, the final reckoning on digital now.
53:12Tom Cruise stars as Ethan Hunt in this action-packed thrill ride that film critics are calling
53:17the biggest and wildest mission yet.
53:19Go inside incredible stunts with over 50 minutes of jaw-dropping extras when you buy it
53:24on digital.
53:24Available participating retailers rated PG-13 from Paramount Pictures.
53:29So that sounds like it's going to be a good one.
53:33You definitely want to check that one out.
53:35So all the others have been great.
53:36So let's just see if we can keep adding on and, and go watch it.
53:40Go check, check that sucker out.
53:42I was about to say something and then I lost my train of thought.
53:45Um, we do got the light track.
53:47Um, something else that's happening on the internet.
53:51Those of you that like coffee and like drinking coffee, this guy knows about drinking coffee
53:54because he's been drinking it.
53:55I've been drinking a lot of it.
53:57So I'm all geared up, man.
53:58So, so rodeo coffee roasters, go look them up on the internet, go look on the Facebook,
54:04go look on the tick tock.
54:06What you really need to do is go check out the rodeo coffee roasters tick tock.
54:09Um, cause there's a lot of stuff that's been happening on there.
54:13Um, they've been doing some lives.
54:15So if you're, if you have questions about the coffee, you can catch one of the, one of
54:19their tick tock lives and do a live Q and a, you can see the coffee bags in person because
54:26people don't, they look at the bag and like, how big is the bag?
54:28It's a, it's a good size bag.
54:30It's a big bag.
54:30It's a big bag.
54:32So you can get it in, you can get cups, you can get grounds.
54:38If you want to work extra hard, you can even get the beans.
54:42Hey, I know my son, that's what he, he's got one of the grinders.
54:45I mean, he's a little bougie at his house, but Hey, whatever.
54:48So he's getting a bag of beans for Christmas.
54:50Yeah.
54:51Let him grind them and grind those beans up.
54:53So yeah, check them out.
54:54Look them up on the internet.
54:55Go follow them on tick tock.
54:56If you don't go do it, I got a lot of stuff going on there.
55:00Oh man, there is, this story is interesting because it happened to me.
55:10So this was in South Carolina.
55:13A police dash cam records a lightning strike on a utility pole.
55:17So the guy's just driving along with his dash cam on, looking for one of you, one of you
55:23outlaws out there and happens to catch a lightning strike on his dash cam.
55:31And it sparked a small explosion in the fire.
55:34And I seen that in person last week when it was raining and I was driving home and going
55:41down the old County roads.
55:42And so the fence was maybe, what would you say, 50 foot?
55:45What's it right away?
55:4670 foot from me?
55:47Maybe about 70 foot from me while I was driving.
55:50It's raining.
55:51I hear the loud thunder and I can see the light.
55:54I look over.
55:55The lightning comes down, hits the tree right there on the side of the road, lights that
55:59sucker on fire.
56:00My truck shakes and to the house I go faster than I should have been.
56:05I'm like, I'm getting the heck out of town.
56:08I don't want to get hit by lightning because I hear it's a very shocking experience.
56:16So I want to avoid that at all costs.
56:19So what else you got going on?
56:20You got anything coming up other than we got the bull run.
56:22You got the bull run coming up.
56:24What else is going on?
56:25With us, we're still bucking bulls every Tuesday.
56:28We've had a lot of the PBR guys from the team's events.
56:31They've been coming out and getting on some practice bulls with us.
56:34So we buck every Tuesday night at Kingstrow Cowboy Church.
56:37That's great.
56:37And then other than that, we've wrapped up the post-production of our movie, The Whore
56:42and the Horseman, and we're actually going to have our soft premiere September 27th
56:47at Denison, Texas, Eisenhower Auditorium.
56:49So as that gets closer, I'll be really posting that and trying to get that hyped up as much
56:54as possible before we make this film festival run.
56:57Yep.
56:57Yeah, we'll do that.
56:58And what we'll do is we'll throw the trailer in your face a little bit so you guys can see
57:02it as it gets closer so we can do that too.
57:07Pique their interest just a little bit.
57:10Training Day Ministries, White Riot.
57:12White Riot, Texas.
57:13Yep.
57:15Kingstrow.
57:16Kingstrow Cowboy Church.
57:17Go out there, get on a bull or watch somebody else get on a bull.
57:20Yeah.
57:21I got to get over there.
57:21I've got, man, I got, I got to get some horses over there.
57:24I need to get a couple over there.
57:26Well, you can always use them.
57:27And ride.
57:28I got, I got a few, because I don't know, my old mare, I'm probably going to take, the
57:31old gray mare, I'm probably going to take over, over Lewisville, but I got the, my wife's
57:36old big blue horse.
57:38I've roped a little bit on him, but not a whole lot.
57:40But I don't know what he would do around all the, all the clanging and racking.
57:44So I was like, man, I need to haul him over there.
57:46Well, that's a big enough arena.
57:47You can start far in and just kind of ease him down there.
57:50Yeah.
57:51Yeah.
57:51I can sit down there on the other end and just let him buck and just let him get used
57:54to the, to the racket, the noise, and then just kind of ease him down a little bit.
57:59Cause I'm still riding old gray.
58:00I need to stop riding her.
58:01She's 18 years old.
58:03Hey, ain't broke.
58:04Don't fix it.
58:04But I need to, I need to, I keep saying I'm going to retire her.
58:07Every time I, after every event I say this is her last one, I'm going to retire and I
58:11still don't do it.
58:11Yeah.
58:13It's hard to get rid of the ones you can trust.
58:15I know.
58:16My other horse cut himself, my blue colt, the one I need to be really pushing.
58:19He went over a fence, cut himself.
58:21So he's down.
58:23It just now healed up yesterday.
58:25It's healed up pretty good to where it's, but it's right there in the girt.
58:29So I got a saddle on it.
58:31So I'm going to have to wait until it really, really heals up.
58:33So that's not good for a three-year-old, four-year-old.
58:36No.
58:37Maybe turning four.
58:37He needs, he needs some wet blankets on him.
58:39So I don't know.
58:40I mean, we may load a few up and go to Clinton, Arkansas to that wagon races, go up there for
58:45a little bit.
58:46Camp out.
58:47So maybe, I don't know.
58:49But I guess what we are going to do is we're going to get out of here.
58:53We're going to get on the highways and byways of Texas, sit in traffic for a minute, and
58:57then go home and feed some horses.
59:00That's exactly what I had to do.
59:03We'll see you guys on the next one.
59:04We'll see you guys on the next one.
59:13We'll see you guys on the next one.
59:18And we'll see you guys on that one.
59:20We'll see you guys on the next one.
59:34And we'll see you guys on the next one.
