A Gabalai Nemzetközi Zenei Fesztivál minden nyáron szabadtéri színpaddá változtatja az azerbajdzsáni hegyi üdülőhelyet, ahol világszínvonalú jazz-, opera- és zenekari előadások csendülnek fel a Kaukázus háttere előtt.

00:00High in the Caucasus mountains, Kabbalah awakens not to birdsong, but to music.

00:21For one week every July, this peaceful resort becomes a stage for the world.

00:30Welcome to the 14th Kabbalah International Music Festival.

00:36More than 500 artists from 13 countries have gathered here in the picturesque Azerbaijani city

00:43to share melodies, stories and high notes across six days of concerts.

00:50The mountains of Kabbalah, I should confess, inspire to be great, open-hearted,

00:58because here there is a wonderful atmosphere.

01:01People are so warm.

01:02And we Georgians, Felicity City Hall, big men, we are always happy to come here

01:07and to exchange, to give love and celebrate a wonderful music

01:13which gives us inspiration that lifts us up.

01:18From morning rehearsals to late-night encores, music flows non-stop.

01:33As evening falls, the amphitheatre becomes an open-air opera house.

01:39In Viva Opera, arias unfold, sending music to mingle with the mountain breezes and picnickers alight.

01:50It has been a couple of years since the year of the world.

01:53It has been a festival where the world is founded, and it is a time for the world.

02:03Kabbalah's open-air venue becomes a living postcard where strings shimmer and voices soar.

02:14I feel very proud to be here in Gabala because this is my country.

02:18This is a special place I've been like in the beginning of this adventure, like 14 years ago.

02:26And I see in these years, I saw how developed this festival, how many people come from the foreign countries,

02:35international artists, and this festival develops every year more and more.

02:41When the final note fades, echoes linger, and musicians and audience alike begin the countdown to next year's music festival.
