Üzbegisztán jelentős előrelépéseket tesz a megújuló energiaforrásokra történő átállás felé

Üzbegisztán megújuló energiaforrásokkal kapcsolatos törekvései tükrözik az ország elkötelezettségét a gazdaság modernizálása, az energiabiztonság garantálása és a környezet védelme iránt.

00:00Ambitious projects and international partnerships are reshaping Uzbekistan's energy landscape.
00:10Hello and welcome to Business Line Uzbekistan.
00:13As the world races toward a cleaner future,
00:16Uzbekistan is taking bold steps to transform its energy landscape.
00:20In 2018, the country ratified the Paris Agreement,
00:23pledging to cut greenhouse gas emissions per unit of GDP by 10% from 2010 levels by 2030.
00:32The country's energy mix has long been dominated by fossil fuels,
00:36with natural gas accounting for about 80% of electricity generation.
00:41By December 2024, Uzbekistan had set a goal for solar, wind and hydropower to supply 54% of its electricity by 2030.
00:52The share of green energy, including hydropower, exceeded 20% in the first half of 2025.
00:58Major investors, including companies from Saudi Arabia, China and Europe,
01:03are driving this growth through new power purchase agreements and government-backed incentives,
01:08such as competitive tenders, guaranteed tariffs and long-term contracts.
01:13Here is more.
01:14On the banks of the Naran River, in Uzbekistan's Namangyan region,
01:18the country's first national hydropower plant, built entirely with local materials and expertise,
01:24now turns the power of water into the pulse of light.
01:28This is the first stage of the Naran hydropower cascade, a project that will include six plants along the river.
01:46The plant will generate 171 million kilowatt-hours of electricity each year,
01:52enough to power over 430,000 households.
01:56It will help save 290 million cubic meters of natural gas annually and will create more than 100 new jobs.
02:03In today's days, we have 232 square meters, and we have 220 kilowatt-hours of the Naringis from the Naringis of the Naringis.
02:13The Naringis are in the common ground, with the Naringis of the Naringis,
02:16the Naringis of the Naringis of the Naringis, in Cascades,
02:17had reached over 2.4 km to the Naringis,
02:19and the Naringis.
02:20The Naringis of the Naringis is a 3-5 km tunnel, and it has reached the Naringis.
02:23From flowing water to moving air, the same energy now drives the wind turbines, raising
02:29in Cervak, where a 20-megawatt wind plant is taking shape.
02:33I'm sorry that the state of the United States has a total of 28 million dollars
02:41in terms of funding for the grant.
02:45For Uzbekistan, these projects are more than just power stations.
03:01They are part of a larger strategy to ensure energy security and sustainability for generations
03:07to come.
03:08For example, these projects are more than just power stations, power stations, power stations,
03:15and investment systems.
03:17For example, in 25 years, the government has a special power supply of electricity.
03:23The energy power supply of energy energy is in 2013.
03:28There are two parts of the government.
03:30We have a small micro and mini gas.
03:33We are now in the world of our president.
03:35We are now in the world of our republicans.
03:37We are now in the world of 2000.
03:41We are now in the world of our country.
03:43Uzbekistan's energy transformation is taking shape quietly, steadily and powerfully.
03:49Joining us now is Malikiya Safar Muhammedva, lead specialist of the mining and energy industry development project.
03:56We've seen Uzbekistan made a big progress on this field.
03:59How wind and water energy can contribute to country's energy independence?
04:04Thank you for the very important question.
04:06The energy complex of Uzbekistan is actually moving into a very deep and important stage of modernization.
04:14The progress of the last years is especially noticed in wind energy.
04:18In 2020, this segment was almost present in the country's energy balance.
04:23But in 2024, we can see how it is becoming one of the priority areas of the new energy policy of Uzbekistan.
04:33Today, in the country, there are five large electric electric stations,
04:38thanks to which, for the first 9 months of the next year,
04:43more than 3 billion kilowatts of electricity.
04:46Thank you for joining us.
04:48Well, that's all we have for this edition.
