Sea Dog - Sea Dog 1972 (Canada, Psychedelic / Funk / Blues Rock)
Group "Taxi" from Sudbury ( Ontario ) in 1968 , he moved to Toronto. There, they immediately changed the name to "Tote Family" and released under this name two singles. After which the group disbanded . Keyboardist Doug Varty suggested former musicians group "Magic Bubble" perform together under the name "Sea Dog". The band signed with "Much Records" and started releasing singles . The result of this collaboration was the self-titled album ( out in the U.S. called "Buddah"). After the group disbanded in 1975 Doug Varty continued fairly successful solo career as a singer and artist. Jim Norris publishes popular music magazine in Canada .
