How safe do you feel when visiting theme parks, especially travelling fairs or reconstructed rides, and why?

00:00Well, I'll be quite honest with you, the last time my mum was all told and that was quite a while back.

00:06So obviously the more up-to-date and more safety measures are now in place than what it was years ago.

00:17Well, I took the kids and their grandchildren to Blackpool, Pleasure Beach, for years.

00:23But I wouldn't go, some of these big things, the kids love it, you know, they disappear into the clouds and come down.

00:29Whoa, that's not for me.

00:31You know, they know that it's safe, that's why they make use, they allow people to make use of it.

00:36If there's no safe safety, they wouldn't have allowed people to and I believe that it's safety and I'm sure I have confidence in them.

00:43If you go to the Pleasure Beach, the hot on safety depends where you go, I suppose, you know.

00:50You go to a fairground, automatically you're going to go on right, because obviously that's what you're there for.

00:56So if you didn't feel secure, you wouldn't go there, would you, with respect?
