00:00We're passing a really important milestone today, which is that we've now got 100 diagnostic centres across England
00:05that are open for 12 hours a day, seven days a week.
00:09That's a really important part of our shift of care from hospitals to the community.
00:14It takes pressure off outpatient appointments in hospitals,
00:18and it's also really good in terms of outcomes for patients,
00:21because the faster you get a diagnosis, the better the treatment that you get.
00:25An example of that would be that, thanks to some of the work that CDCs have done,
00:30we've got an additional 100,000 people either getting a cancer diagnosis
00:35or having cancer ruled out within the 28-day target.
