00:00Because even if you play one that old classical is d6, you can have many choices.
00:06And nothing is going to sort of ruin your position instantly.
00:10So there's so many ways you can play, you know, with Zaytsov, bishop b7,
00:15or classical, Chigordian with knight a5.
00:19But if you play Sicilian, if you play Neidorf, and you play Sveshnikov,
00:23then you have to work.
00:24So my recommendation, you can have one sharp opening if you have an appetite for practicing
00:33and learning, spending time with your computer, and looking for some novelties.
00:41Because you have to be well aware about new moves made by strong players.
00:45Because if it's a popular opening, something happens all the time.

01:17exclusively about open or semi-open.
01:21Because E4, as you noticed, I talked about C5 or E5.
01:26There is also E6.
01:27It's semi-open, like E6 and C6,
01:31or Pirz, so fiancating the bishop.
01:37Technically, C5 is also semi-open,
01:39but I cannot call Sicilian semi-open.
01:41For me, it's the most open position one can hope for.
01:47I will go over some of the personal experiences
01:50in more detail in a case study,
01:53just to give you more insight in the way I made decisions
01:57in some of the openings.
01:59But now we're just...
