Oh
00:30
oh yes okay then gary it's the the third walk i believe um in terms of raising awareness about
00:37
prostate cancer so just why are you so keen to get this message across to people you meant to
00:42
get checked out i think it's important i think one thing which i think men do struggle with
00:47
is talking about it and um alongside obviously the two mix here i think we've got a platform
00:54
to raise the awareness that it is important to go and get checked and the earlier you catch it the
01:00
better chance you've got to obviously to cure it and mick i know you're a sondland lad but live out
01:07
the area now so why is it important for you to return each year now to be part of this walk
01:10
it's massively important to me because the people of sondland have been so supportive of me through
01:16
my uh through my illness uh and i feel i have to give something back uh and i just want to try
01:22
with the help of all these guys and the fans museum and uh keep moat uh is trying raise awareness
01:30
for prostate cancer and michael i know it's the second year that the fans museum's been involved
01:35
and actually organizing it so as founder why are you so keen to be part of this the fans museum's
01:41
built on health and education obviously the connection from our former players that we you
01:46
know we hold this engagement kids want to see these shorts boots balls but from that we can
01:52
direct and educate them obviously prostate concept it's a new topic these two guys are
01:58
you know i organize personally on the pitch i want to be part of whatever i can really but
02:03
to raise more awareness in sondland but obviously you know for the fans of sondland it's all about
02:08
fans and you know nobody's ever going to support anything from health so more heads together
02:15
is this now going to be an annual event and also the third you know every year is going to take place
02:20
yeah yeah it's our third one it's growing again today make sure it'll be great again and and so
02:25
may continue we're actually also going to announce uh another method towards our panting groups so again
02:33
more news to follow but obviously today it's all about today it's all about these two guys being brave to
02:38
stand up and obviously share their stories which is impeccable to themselves but these are our legends
02:44
going to support them and many others and there's the walk also about when people are walking having
02:49
a chat opening up maybe revealing your own concerns your own story is that what the walks part about
02:54
as well yeah and again that's what we stress about in in regards of talking i think it's important to
02:59
talk and share share your experiences um you know and again from my experience i didn't have any symptoms
03:06
um but it was a case of obviously listening to my wife and my friend of mine um to go and get checked up
03:13
and the earlier you do get checked up and get diagnosed the better chance you've got
03:36
you
