During a car race, Fix and Foxi are bullied by a rival who drives a purple car. The rival, a blond-haired boy, sabotages their vehicle, causing them to lose the race. Upset by this unfair defeat, Fix and Foxi decide to get revenge. They gather various old parts and appliances to build a new and improved race car. With their homemade car, they challenge their rival to another race. The race is neck and neck until the very end, when Fix and Foxi use an unexpected secret weapon, which is a powerful fan made out of an old hairdryer, a vacuum, and a blender, to blow their rival's car off the track and win the race.
