Taylor Swift says she broke down in tears when she told boyfriend Travis Kelce she had gotten the rights to her entire music vault ... and she got emotional recalling the moment she knew the deal was sealed.

00:06They're not actually married.

00:08But it is very clear from this two-hour podcast that they did together

00:14where she announced her new album on the New Heights podcast.

00:17It was very clear.

00:18The album is one thing.

00:19But the other thing that was very clear is how much they have completely enmeshed their lives

00:26and how much time they're spending together

00:30and how much they share every huge moment in each of their lives together.

00:36There was one moment in particular that was very emotional for Taylor Swift

00:41but also revealed a lot about how Travis Kelsey spends his downtime.

00:48So she was talking about the moment when she found out that she got,

00:51this was back in May, when she found out that she was getting her entire catalog back,

00:57that she was able to make this purchase from the group that had owned her catalog.

01:03And she got a phone call, got the news, and wanted to share it immediately with Travis.

01:12This is interesting not only because of her reaction, but Travis's as well.

01:24she's like,

01:26you got your music.

01:30And I'm so sorry that this is,

01:33it's literally been so long since this happened.

01:36It's every time I talk about it.

01:38She was like, you got your music.

01:40And I just like very dramatically hit the floor for real.

01:45Like, honestly, just started bawling my eyes out.

01:50I knock on the door.

01:51He's playing video games.

01:54And I'm trying to say it in a normal way.

01:56And I'm just like,

01:57Travis!

01:58I'm like, oh no.

01:59What just happened?

02:01And he's like, he like puts his headset down.

02:03He's like, guys, gotta go.

02:04And I think he thought something was wrong.

02:06And you come up and I'm just like,

02:08I got all my music back.

02:09And then just start absolutely heaving.

02:15It was very telling.

02:18I mean, the fact that he's playing video games is hilarious.

02:27that was really important to her.

02:31They didn't say it outright,

02:33that they are living together.

02:35But the number of times that they talked about

02:38these big moments and that they were together

02:40in a house somewhere.

02:42It makes you think that they are living together,

02:44which is a really big deal

02:46because she's got so many places she has to be.

02:48She's always busy.

02:49He's always busy.

02:49But to have a home base together

02:51shows you how serious they really are.

03:22Or address it in some kind of manner.

03:23Yeah.

03:24But they didn't.

03:27I thought Jason would be like,

03:28are you guys thinking about it?

03:30Yeah.

03:30So they, by the way,

03:32was record setting by some numbers.

03:35I saw that there were two million people

03:38who have watched it in the first 12 hours.

03:41And it even crashed at one point

03:42because everyone was trying to access and see it.

03:44So they broke the internet.

03:46So obviously, Taylor's,

03:48the large majority of those numbers

03:49are probably Taylor's fans.

03:50Swifties.

03:51But you gotta remember that

03:53Jason and Travis Kelsey have an audience of their own

03:56and they tend to be diehard sports fans.

04:00There was something for them as well.

04:03And they talked about introduction to football.

04:06Yeah.

04:07And what she's learned.

04:07She actually said on the first date with Travis Kelsey,

04:11she asked him what it was like to line up

04:15against his big brother during the Super Bowl they played on.

04:18And obviously, if you're a fan of sports

04:20or a fan of football,

04:21you know that's just logistically impossible, right?

04:23I know that.

04:24You know that, Edward.

04:25But actually, and I discovered this morning,

04:28there are a lot of people who don't know that

04:30because they don't understand

04:31how football works that way.

04:34And it went even deeper than that.

04:36She said she didn't know what a tight end was.

04:38She didn't know what a first down was.

04:39She didn't know what the chain gang was.

04:41I mean, this was, it was like literally

04:43no knowledge of football.

04:45She actually said she thought that Josh Allen,

04:46who's a quarterback for the Bills,

04:48and Jared Goff, a quarterback for the Lions,

04:50faced off and they just like rumbled against each other.

04:52And that was how football was played.

04:53Like she had no knowledge of the sport prior to Travis.

04:56Darian, Nashville.

04:58I think I speak for many fans when I say

05:00that we knew back in 2019 that it was really hard

05:03when Taylor lost the opportunity to purchase her Masters.

05:06But to see her talk about that experience,

05:08especially hearing the news from her own mom

05:10and breaking down and crying on the podcast

05:13was a whole nother eye-opening experience.

05:15And I know that we're all celebrating

05:17alongside with Taylor today.

05:18Yeah, there's a lot to celebrate if you're a Taylor fan.

05:20And I actually, I think a lot of some of the people

05:23who were haters of their relationship,

05:26you can say they got sappy or whatever,

05:29but you know, it seemed genuine and it was cool.

05:32I want to play, there's one more bite

05:33because this is the moment where she talks about

05:37when they first got together

05:41and that, you know, he went on their podcast

05:45and he said, I really want to meet her.

05:46And he was upset that he didn't get to meet her

05:48at a meet and greet.

05:50And that actually meant a lot to Taylor as it turns out.

05:53This kind of felt more like I was in an 80s John Hughes movie

05:57and he was just like standing outside of my window

06:00with a boombox just being like, I want to date you.

06:02Yeah.

06:03Do you want to go on a date with me?

06:04I made you a friendship place.

06:10I was like, if this guy isn't crazy,

06:18about wanting to happen to me since I was a teenager.
