00:00They were all baptized as babies because I was raised Catholic and my husband was raised Baptist
00:04and we kind of raised them Presbyterian and so they were baptized as babies but in our church
00:13now we're back in a Baptist church now and Brady just felt very called he has a great youth pastor
00:18I mean he's got teachers at school that are constantly talking to him about faith friends
00:23that he talks to about faith and it started to really mean a lot to him in the last year you
00:28know it started to really resonate with him his Bible class is the one he gets 100 on every year
00:32like you know it's the one he really focuses he understands it and it it fills him and uh yeah
00:38kind of like a month before I think it was kind of just in passing actually it was my younger one
00:43Tucker who said Brady wants to get baptized I was like what so um you know Brady talked about it a
00:48little bit and then finally he was like hey would uh would next weekend be a good weekend for me to
00:52be baptized I was like yeah okay let's do that so yeah it was all him my husband and I sat in the
00:59front we always sit in the back of the church we're sitting in the front of the church right in the
01:02aisle and I mean just bawling you know and and he's like I looked over at you guys you're just like a
01:07mess sorry as a family we really we really lean into the faith together we all we pray over every meal
01:14we pray before we travel we pray um oh my gosh night morning um when we know that someone's having
01:22struggles we just went through um some some tough times this year with uh losing loved ones and and um
01:30a friend of ours getting cancer and things so it's it's been a little bit of a rough year and so we've
01:34really leaned into prayer as a family individually um we quote scripture a lot you know they see their
01:40father reading the bible every morning at 5 30 in the morning if they get in my car the bible's
01:44playing so they they they witness a lot of that faith and I think through that faith they've just
01:48felt stronger when I discovered world vision it was incredible because it was like I had always kind
01:54of been seeking a charity I could really figure out like other parts of the world how do other people
02:01live that aren't American that aren't you know they don't have a grocery store down the street
02:05how do they survive what happens and with partnering with world vision I had the
02:10um I was so blessed that they would take me over there and let me see how these programs work and
02:16they're so complex and they're so rich and they're so deep and they get they get to the core of the
02:20problem and they help people learn how to they like to say that it's not a handout it's a hand up
02:25and it really they go into an area for like 15 years and they help that area they go find children
02:32they'll go to visit schools or families or villages and find children that are really malnourished
02:37or sick and they'll try to figure out you know what's going on over here how can we help and you
02:42can find what it is that you think kids and families need right now and you can make that donation and
02:48it'll go to help I mean it really it really is a gift that keeps on giving
