00:03our friend Jonathan Turley. Nice to see you, sir. Good morning to you.

00:07Thank you, Bill. Good to see you.

00:08Here is Tom Holman with Martha yesterday afternoon.

00:13I said from day one all the way back to the Republican National Convention that President

00:17Trump will wipe the cartels off the face of the earth. And he would designate a terrorist

00:23organization, and he has. The Biden administration could have asked for cartel members to be

00:28extradited in this country. They didn't. President Trump has committed to American people to make

00:32this country safe again. He's going to save lives. He's going to shut down the cartels and wipe them

00:36off the face of the earth. And this is exactly what he's doing. The allegations against Guzman

00:41Castro is that he shipped a lot of cocaine from Guatemala through Mexico and into the United

00:46States. Based on your experience, is it difficult to prosecute these individuals or not?

00:53Well, first of all, Bill, it's very important to note how extraordinary this is. Over two dozen

00:59high-ranking drug cartel members shipped to the United States. That is going to send a chilling

01:05message to everyone in the drug trade in Mexico. This has not happened under prior

01:12presidents. This is where these guys least want to go. You know, there's an expression

01:18in some of these areas of gold or lead that they offer to prosecutors and judges. They're

01:23used to getting special treatment. They're used to being given a way out, including escape from

01:29prisons. That's not going to happen at Supermax. I mean, you're going to go to a real prison.

01:33You're going to go for life. And so this is an amazing development. Now, in terms of proving these

01:40cases, these people have been on the radar of the DEA for years. The amount of evidence against them

01:46is quite significant. The individual that you mentioned shipped more than Amazon across

01:52the border. I mean, he's considered one of the great traffickers that the government has been

01:58pursuing. So for law enforcement, this is just a gold star day to get their hands on these individuals.

02:07So there's another story popping out there, and it involves the first lady and it involves Hunter

02:11Biden. So apparently Hunter Biden was talking and he suggested that Epstein is the one who introduced

02:19Melania and Donald Trump to one another here in New York City. And they said, this is not true.

02:24We met in 1998 at a Fashion Week party in New York City. Here's the statement on behalf of the lawyer

02:30for the first lady. Failure to comply. She wants him to retract the statement, okay? Failure to comply

02:36I will leave Mrs. Trump and no choice but to pursue any and all legal rights and remedies available to

02:41her to recover the overwhelming financial and reputational harm that you have caused her to

02:45suffer. They call this extremely salacious. Retract it now. And I think Hunter Biden was on a YouTube

02:53show just yesterday, perhaps. And he said, in response, blank that.

02:58Well, in the notice letter, they said they'll be seeking a billion dollars. And I can say right now

03:12without discovery, he doesn't have it. That's a lot of paintings that he would have to move. And their

03:18value has gone down dramatically since his father left office. The fact is that the first lady has

03:25succeeded in getting multiple news outlets to retract this story. They really go after the source,

03:32this author named Wolf, who has been repeatedly challenged in terms of the accuracy of things

03:38that he has written about the Trump family, the Trump administration. Hunter Biden is known to be in

03:44tough financial straits. He was suing people left and right, including for defamation as sort of a

03:50scorched earth approach when his father was president. He's abandoned many of those lawsuits.

03:57And the reason cited is he doesn't have any money to pay his lawyers. So this is not exactly welcome

04:03news for Hunter Biden. Michael Wolf is the author to whom you are referring, who've gotten some deep

04:11water during Trump 1.0. We'll see if the pursuit continues. My guess is yes, unless you get a retraction

04:18from Hunter Biden, but we'll see in time. Thank you, Jonathan Turley. Appreciate that.
