A 41-year-old shop assistant has been remanded for five days by the Ayer Keroh Magistrate’s Court for allegedly outraging the modesty of his teenage stepdaughter.

00:00A 41-euro shop assistant has been remanded for five days by the Ayakuro Magistrate's Court
00:07for allegedly outraging the modesty of his teenage stepdaughter.
00:12The remand order, issued by Magistrate Anne Shiva Shankari on Thursday,
00:16will run until August 18 to assist investigations under the Sexual Offences Against Children Act.
00:23The alleged incident took place on May 30 at their home in Duyong
00:27after a dispute between the suspect and the victim's mother.
00:30The man is accused of behaving inappropriately with the 15-year-old while pretending to console her.
00:36Police say the suspect also sent the teenager an uncomfortable message on June 10
00:41and had allegedly displayed inappropriate behaviour on several previous occasions.
00:46The victim, accompanied by her mother, lodged a police report on Tuesday
00:50and the suspect was arrested the following day.
00:57They made the incident.
