00:00in week number one of the preseason, a lot of people liked Shadour Sanders. If we're taking

00:04a look at the Cleveland Browns depth chart right now for quarterbacks, Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett,

00:10Dylan Gabriel, and Shadour Sanders. Yes, most people liked what Shadour did in game number one.

00:15Dylan Gabriel is going to get a chance to show out. So is Kenny Pickett and also Joe Flacco.

00:19Understand this. Coaches, general managers, and front office personnel in the NFL will tell you

00:25this, Joe. You don't actually win that job in the game. It just sort of cements your status.

00:30You win that job in the locker room by being a leader, in the meeting room by showing the

00:35understanding of the playbook and how things get done. And more importantly, you go out and prove

00:39it day after day after day in practice. That's how it gets done. You can have a great drive in the

00:44preseason. That's all the fancy. Oh, Shadour should be the starter. That's not the case. And it's not

00:49the way it works here. But the by yourself question I'm asking you today, Joe, Shadour Sanders will

00:54start the most games for the Browns this season by yourself.

01:02That's so hard here at this point. I'm going to say bye. I'm going to give him the benefit

01:06of the doubt. And I think a couple of things are going in his favor right now. Number one,

01:12he sells tickets and he gets eyeballs and he is interesting. And the Browns who let's not forget

01:19under Stefanski, they won 11 games twice in his first four years coaching. Right. And

01:26he ended up winning coach of the year, I think twice during those seasons. But then ownership

01:32thought it'd be great to trade for Deshaun Watson. And then the wheels came off and they went three

01:39and 14 last year. But I can make the argument that Stefanski has done more with less with his

01:46time at the Browns than any other coach in the NFL. So if he can still figure out, it's not like

01:53they don't have talent here. They got Judy. They got Najoko. They've got a pretty stable running

01:58back for a young, right? Judkins, if he stays out of jail, would be great. But they've got they've

02:04got talent, Donnie. Now they just need somebody not to shoot them in the foot like Deshaun Watson did

02:10all the time. You know, they say if you got four quarterbacks, you don't have a quarterback. But I do

02:16think the biggest upside here would be Shador Sanders from a PR standpoint, as well as possibly

02:23winning games here. So they will probably overperform. But I think it's going to be because Shador

02:29Sanders is under center.
