00:00Meanwhile, the game between the Mindoro Tamarows and the Jensen Warriors in the Maharlika, Filipinas Basketball League, MPBL,
00:06ended in a serious incident on Monday after Mikol, or Sorella, of Jensen, suddenly punched Jonas Tibayan of Mindoro.
00:15Everyone was shocked as there was no prior warning or altercation before the incident.
00:19Sorella unexpectedly threw a punch that landed on Tibayan's face.
00:23The Mindoro player collapsed and bloodied and unconscious, prompting immediate medical attention and removal from the court by a stretcher.
00:31Tibayan was rushed to a hospital in Batangas. He sustained a concussion, a fractured jaw, and a torn lip.
00:38Following a swift decision by officials, Sorella was immediately ejected from the game.
00:42Despite the tension, the Mindoro Tamarows still emerged victorious over the Jensen Warriors 76-72.
